First of all, I am a long time vaper and very happy camper with carto tanks. But, the idea of rebuilding instead of buying/replacing intrigues me. I'm pretty handy with tinkering, but am not really interested in tinkering a LOT for my vape. (But, I do understand that once I get it down, it would be a breeze) I like to fill tank, vape, repeat... and every few weeks change out a carto. So, I haven't really been interested.
Now to my issue that has brought the interest back. (I posted this in another thread, but not getting any advice)
I'm finally thinking of looking into these RBAs. I'm perfectly satisfied with my carto tanks. But, my wife vapes non-stop. Chief'n. Low nic and low watts... but she hardly puts it down and give it a rest. So, my problem is burnt out cartos every couple days (or more!) (Even with IKV's she's only getting a week or less).
How do the wicks, coils, mesh, <insert whatever I'll learn as I dig in deeper>>.... do as far as burning when given no "rest"?
I need consistency and easy to refill (for my wife) and not too expensive to try out (for me).
One major issue that I've seen, and why I haven't dug deeper, is having to have them always upright so they don't leak (through airhole?). Is this true of all of them? That would be a show stopper.
If an RBA exists where leakage/hole is not an issue, please give suggestions for decent one (as in... almost work as good as the "real mccoys"... enough to where i could see if it would work for us) that I could start with. I cannot afford to test something out unless it's fairly cheap. And I am still a doubter... Thanks!
Help me out here folks. Is this a route I should look into? (Oh... and the tilting (to wick?) seems to be a PIA, but I'm sure she could live with that)
Any and all advice PLEASE!
Thanks!!
