anxiety and nicotine

Hi everyone got my anxiety under control doc higher my pills and gave me sleeping pills to sleep so im not running around like a loon and gone down to 18 mg which will use tomoz when i finish the 24 mg so see how i go on.

Ran across this post and wondering how you are doing? Care to give us a update?

I know this is an old thread, and I'm glad you're problems are resolved :) but I did want to add something that was not mentioned:

Exercise! Now that you are no longer smoking, you will have more energy. Since you are not used to having more energy you may not know what to do with it, and so that will lead to increased anxiety. It would help to start an exercise program, or increase the intensity of the one you're on. If you have any physical limitations to exercise, talk to your doctor and see what you can do.

I was pretty much forced to begin exercising about a month after I quit because I had more energy than I knew what to do with, and at times felt like I was crawling out of my skin. All I did was walk for a couple miles a day, three or four days a week, and it made a world of difference. :)

This is excellent advice. In fact it's excellent advice regardless of ones smoking/vaping status. Exercise is highly effective at dealing with anxiety and depression.
