I see all these threads arguing over the relative performance and value of VV devices, but very little on how best to use them. I just ordered an Infinity Pro and I'm wondering if there is any advise on getting the most out of it. My current preference is the Smoktech DCT. Unfortunately, I am convinced the dual coil cartonmizers have ruined my ego batteries and I can only get decent performance with my passthrough, which lead me to pursuing a more powerful PV in the first place.

My personal preferences tend toward products that produce good vapor and flavor but will work for long stretches without any fiddling, such as dripping, frequent topping off of cartonmizers, or performing constant adjustment to keep working or not leaking (I started vaping with the ego-t and was convinced that constantly dealing with leaking, wicks, and cleaning expensive atomizers was part of the vaping experience). The DCT would have been a great solution if it didn't kill ego batteries. I want to experiment and looking for suggestions. Since previously I was looking for ego targeted products I haven't researched much of what is available for higher voltage. I'm not sure what to look for or to avoid, although I did order some of the DCT 2.5ohm cartomizers to try and still have a supply of the LR ones.

I have an Ipro and love it to pieces. I don't recommend using LR atties/cartos on it though. Standard or higher is needed for sure. I have bunches of dc tanks and kind of wish I would have stocked up on SR punched boges to go with my Jtank. I get better flavor and vapor with them but I'm forcing myself to use the 29 2.5 dc's I have before I buy anymore hardware.

From someone who uses the infinity pro on a daily basis, get a 5ml tank and some standard resistance punched cartos. Oh, and at least two sets of batteries and of course a charger. Label the sets with a sharpie (1/1,2/2) so you drain and charge them together. This = Amazing flavor, clouds of vapor and an awesome vaping experience.

If that's your mod dressed in purple it is extremely lovely....I've noticed it before in your posts and just had to comment on it.....

All good advice. If you don't go with a tank, SR Boge is my favorite with my Buzz Pros.

Im going with a vv Knight Rider (lavatube) and some kanger hc cartos. I want to try some xxl cartos with it though too to see how much longer they last. with regular cartos my sweet spot is 4.2v for most juices and 3.7v with the kangers. Great flavor, great vapor, and great th.

I'm also a big fan of the Kangers.

Thanks for info. The Purple IPro does look very nice (if you're a gal), I ordered the chrome with brass hardware, I don't trust the color to stay put. I'm curious if the Pre-punched Boge SR cartos would be compatible with the Smoktech DCT tank. Rather not buy any more tanks if I don't have to. Rather not punch my own holes either. Also, anyone have any experience with MadVapes DC Cartos, they are unbranded but they have them prepunched at 1.25, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 ohms

Also the punched cartos at Hoosiers are smoke tech, and have the flanged Bottom. I'm using one in my madvapes tank right now actually :vapor:

As for the color staying put, I was curious about that myself. Mine is purple inside and out so I tried scratching the inside of the tube with a needle to see how resistant it was. The needle didn't scratch it, and no purple came off which is far more than I can say for all of my colored ego batteries.

All in all I think the Ipro as solidly made. My purse is full of an ungodly amount of random stuff that scratches the crap out of my phone case, iPod case, etc... But my Ipro which spends a lot of its day in my purse while running around to work, errands, school and what not has remained perfect. I'm sure you will love yours! :)

I will have to look at Hoosiers then, the tank and cartos I have are the Smoktech and I am happy with them, although I haven't compared them to Boges or any of the 510 style cartos for that matter. The only other carto I've tried is the eGo CE2 Giantomizer (which isn't a conventional cartomizer, techwise it is closer to a sealed ego tank), and the ego mega dual coil cartomizer which works "ok" on ego battery but is chore to fill. I don't think either would work well at higher volts.

Anyone know where I can pick up some 3.0 single coil carts for tanks?? This is looking like a semi-serious issue for me as the only place I've found to get them is thru Volcano. Not a big deal BUT if I'm doing the tank on the LT I don't really wanna be doing it with a 2.0 and be voltage limited....maybe this is my excuse to purchase that Rootbeer Buzz....:2cool: The ones I have are the flanged (new style). I thought they were smoktechs but maybe not because like I said I can't seem to find them anywhere other than volcano.

At Hoosiers the single coils are in the same drop down list with the dual coils for replacement cartos for the tank, highest is only 2 ohm though.

Thanks for the info I appreciate it. Not that big a deal as I stated earlier but it does bother me a bit that it seems I can only get these thru volcano...just hoping this doesn't evolve into some form of "price gouging" for lack of a better term I can come up with at this hour of the morning...lol. Thanks again....
