any attempts and making glass tanks?

Any of you attempted handblowing your own glass tanks?

I tried cutting a test tube for one, and ended up in an emergency room getting stitches. I dont think it should be that hard with the right tubing. Score,break, and flame polish the ends.

Its an expensive investment, but I was thinking about getting a minor torch and trying some glass blowing. Not just for tanks ofcourse, but just as a cool hobby I guess.
