Any former cig-a-like users who had good experiences with cig-a-likes?

I had a good experience with cigalikes. My first PV was a V2 kit – unregulated manual and automatic batteries. I later bought a regulated cigalike, but like the mechanical mods that I use exclusively today, I prefer to start out at 4.2v and don’t mind vaping until the battery drains down to 3.7v to be recharged (I thought that it sucked to be regulated at 3.7v, the crummiest vape on my drained V2s). I didn’t care much for the V2 cartomizers or liquids so I quickly moved to filling blank cartomizers.

I still have my V2 batteries, although they’re over two and half years old and I don’t know if they still hold a charge. I’ve been considering using them if I go to a place like a sporting event, concert, or amusement park that screens patrons with metal detectors or pat downs to avoid getting turned away or being forbidden to bring in a larger mod.

I don’t know if I would recommend cigalikes to a new vaper given some of the newer and better gear that’s out there, but I think that it was a good way for me to start vaping given what was available at the time.

Been vaping now for 3 years. About 6 weeks ago, I picked up V4L's Zeus. I've liked that ever since I've had it, though like any device (ever) it isn't without some issues.

I have 9 cigalike batts that I keep in daily rotation. Lots of charging going on and the batts do die out every 2 to 5 months. But like others, I went with V2 and their replacement policy has not had me buying a batt unless I'm looking to try something new (i.e. the Zeus).

In this moment, I do prefer cigalikes, and so not really a 'former cigalike user.' I like that they are easier to hold, to carry around and to use in public. I haven't even tried taking Zeus into public cause I know I can be discreet/respectful vaping in public with a cigalike. And I am one that advocates for vaping everywhere, with respect.

Ive been so tempted to try the Eroll many times.

Njoy gets thumbs up for not being BT and for sending lawyers to fight for vapers. Their new flavors are b&m only. I want to try them but havent found a place yet.

One of the reasons I havent tried Vuse etc is that I won't support BT.

I bought some online from Indy Vapor Shop (I like Paramour). There is a list of B&Ms on the NJOY Artist Collection website.

Do you know if Njoy has any of their new flavors in the disposables? I thought their disposables were the very best, but I didn't care for the original "Light" taste, too eucalyptus-y. I have an eRoll, but even though it's the right size, it's nothing like holding a cigarette really; the atty is just at the point where you would hold a cigarette in the V of your fingers, so you have to hold it like a tough on the street corner to keep from burning yourself. :D I thought the feel of the original Njoy cigalikes was perfect.
