Back when I first got into vaping I had a Skycig cig-a-like device (I now have an MVP and Aspire)

Back then vaping hadn’t quite become the thing it is today, the six brick and mortar shops specialising in vaping in my city didn’t exist, and cheap battery and tank devices weren’t around for next to nothing anywhere, neither did newsagents sell e-liquid like they do now either.

Cig-a-likes however were around in some stores but that’s about it.

Now vaping has grown and is becoming more recognized, I often see vapours going about there business with there devies (saw one today), but literally everyone I see whose got a device hasn’t ever got a cig-a-like.

And this makes me wonder

How often does anyone else see cig-a-like users? or do most people not have those kind of devices?

I don't see a real future in cig-a-likes personally, seriously I don't because nobody buys them.

better question, how many do you know that buy/bought them to throw them away and continue to smoke?

more than I've seen actually using them.:p

out and about (not at the vape shop) eGo Types, if you're watching carefully at a hospital you'll see a pink provari in St Lukes outpatient surgery *lol*

I've seen all types here and there, it's not every day, but when Ed's driving the motorcycle he's not really able to watch more than traffic so I'm back there looking around contemplating my belly button, so I've seen quite a few drivers, folks walking etc. eGo's to mods..more and more each week, or I'm just noticing it.:vapor:

NEVER! When out and about at the bars, I see plenty of coffin sticks, they see my mod box, smell my vapor and ask what I've got. I'm always happy to show them. even carry a spare drip tip with condoms and let them try. Sometimes I get a good laugh watching them cough with my 50/50 low mg juice and say what a hit it is. Usual setup for a night out is Hana running a R91 @ 1.3ohm.

In my area I don't think I have ever seen anybody with a cig-a-like I see MODS,Rebuildables, and EGO style but never a cig-a-like(at least in my area) I'm really happy to see this trend cig-a-likes are so expensive in the long run with small vapor production I hate to see smokers trying to quit try this and think "Is this as good as it gets, whats all the hype about?" and go back to cigarettes. I understand there place as a "try out and see if i will like vaping" product but not everybody gets to see a mod or lucky enough to have a B&M shop in there town to find out what vaping is really about. Good topic buy the way

Back when I first started vaping The only one's I ever saw(and even they were rare) were people using cig-a-likes. They would complain about them, and their eye's would go all huge when I pulled out my provari.

These days I'm not seeing people using cig-a-likes. Now that we have a couple tiny vape shops in the area the eGo-types are more popular.

I rarely ever see anyone vaping and have never seen anyone using a cig-a-like. When I do see someone vaping, it is usually an eGo type battery. I do see a guy every morning when I drop my wife off at her office that has an MVP with a Nautilus on top. I also occasionally see a guy during my morning commute chucking massive clouds out his window. Not sure what he's using but I'm sure he's dripping. I've never seen anyone just walking around using a mech or high power box mod.
