I am from Hampton area, I have to drive all the way to Newnan for Vapes Gone Wild. They're really nice guys, I unfortunately am in a wheelchair (I was born without legs, and due to medical complications I can't use my prosthetics) and their store is up a flight of stairs :\. They make the juice in-house, and they make it in the 30mg nic strength. I really want to get into mods, but can't due to finances. I am using a protank 2 with a e-go twist. But yeah, that's all about me :D

V8p Bar Brick and Mortar store..... Norcross.......Thumbs up

Hey all !! I found another great Vape shop around Atlanta (Norcross area actually) that has pretty experienced and helpfull owners and employees who vape and sells upper end Mechs and toppers as well.....along with the standard fare. They even stock the REAL Kayfun lite ( in stock) as well as the Sofia and all sorts of other goodies that you can put your hands on.....even had a King (not a clone).

Everyone was very friendly....some "hanger Outers" were there on the couch which is always fun....doing builds and such and also talking vape stuff. They have these little stations on the floor that they have set up to help you build coils if you want to upgrade to that as well. They appeared to be very willing to lend a helping hand like many of us have found out about SteamCigs in Lawrenceville. The owner told me they have "get togethers" on Sundays where they teach different things etc...like we do at SteamCigs on Thursday Nights.

I talked to the owners and they seemed exited about the whole thing.....Oh..they keep a good selection of batteries from AW to MNKE sub Ohm , Efest, Sanyo, Pannys.

Heres the address if you want to check them out...... 5865 Jimmy Carter Blvd STE 118 Norcross, Ga and its called V8P BAR .

On I-85, get off on Jimmy Carter and they a just a few blocks West of I-85 (the opposite dirtection of the Varsity)

PS. As I was talking to one of the owners, he said "We dont charge people if they want a bit of wicking material.... it doesnt cost me much..why charge for that ?"

I like their attitude. Anyone else been there ?

Thanks for the post. This is sort of in my "neighborhood" and seems worthy of a visit.

For those more familiar with the area, the shopping plaza this maps to is on the right going toward Buford Hwy (westbound) from I-85, just past the Pep Boys (which will be on the left).

Not trying to nitpick on the directions, but since they widened JCB and added the median, I find landmarks even more important for me finding stuff in that area. I think that Pep Boys has been there since at least the late 80's. I hate admitting I know that LOL.

Sounds like a nice store Thunderball. I'm off all next week, so I think I'll take a trip up that way and check em out.

How's their juice selection?

You know...I get a "fail" here. I DIY and didnt pay much attention to that. It looked like it may be their own juice and they had several flavors. I did notice a whole lot of huge plastic bottles with their juice name on it......maybe 500 ml bottles. Those may be what they use to fill up whatever bottle size you buy or may even sell it in lots that big. Just guessing here.

Just went to their website. No pictures and they dont show 1/10th of what they have for sale.

Looks like the web site is pretty new. Also, a lot of times stores with a B&M won't (or can't) list higher end stuff on their website because of resale agreements.

Their juice prices look decent, but the hardware is kinda pricey. $13 for a Trustfire 18650? Meh. Also, no store hours posted.

Wait... They've got AW's and MKNE's and only list Trustfire on their site? Bizarre. It's like their web site is pure newb junk and their B&M is full of advanced gear.

Wish I didn't have so much work to do today or I'd drive on down there... assuming they're open.

Yeah..they had Pannys and Sanyo's also. They were open until 10 last night. You'll just have to call I guess. You met the one of the owners and one of the employees I think..... they come into Steam from time to time. I think they send each other customers if one doesnt have what they are looking for at that particular store.

That says a lot for them right there, and means I definitely need to pay them a visit. I like it when local shops work together instead of trying to crush the competition.

Do you know if they're on ECF?

Hello all, just checking in! My B&M of choice is VapeRite (vaperite.com) on Cheshire Bridge Road, since it's a short drive from my place in Midtown Atlanta. The folks there are really knowledgeable and got me hooked up with Protank 2 Mini to go on the eGo batt I got elsewhere, and got my brother and my roommate hooked up with starter kits. I'm a newb, so I'm looking forward to stopping in frequently to sample juices. Eventually I want to check out epipemods stuff, because I really want a cool e-pipe. But that will have to wait.

In the wilderness
V8R bar opened on black Friday. I was there the following week and apparently they were out of stock on a lot of what will be their usual stock. There are 3 owners that all have their specialties and one is into rebuildables. I didn't stick around long but I got the feeling they are more geared towards the higher end than most that are new.

I'm with TB. I DYI so I didn't pay attention to the juice options.

Overall good place but the one time a month I am in that area I don't usually have much time and it is still far away for me so I probably won't be a regular there.

I notice Vulcan Vapes doesn't get much recognition here but I like that place too. If you want a wide variety of brands that's the place to go and they stock the specialty flavors from those brands. Though they don't have high end stuff most of their prices are pretty good.

Were lucky here in the ATL area. I hear so much about bad brick and mortars on this forum but there is only one I've been to that I flat out didn't like (and no I will not call them out) but even that one didn't seem to be completely gouging people.
