My mother and I got our buzz pros last week. (yes my mom loves, loves, loves to vape) I noticed something a little odd about my unit. Every once in a while after it sits for a little bit it doesn't fire on the first button press. Most of the time it fires fine the second time. Occasionally when the button is pressed and doesn't fire it won't fire again until I unscrew the end cap a turn and a half or so and screw it back together. The light does not turn blue but stays solid red when this occurs. Also I know it is not the batteries because I get a solid 10-11 hours from a charge. This has been happening very randomly. Any input would be great. Thanks

What they said. If you draw too many amps she goes into protection mode. By unscrewing the cap you turn it off and on resetting the protection circuit. Like Verm said you probably have something it the connector causing this or you have a bad carto/atty. Try cleaning the connector and blowing it out real good. Plus do what Bovinia said to do also make sure the screw on the side is tight. Work it back and forth to insure a good connection.

I wish I knew that last week LOL. I would have waited. I bought 2 of them. 1st I miss the sale and now too soon for the new bottom cap :-(. This is my first vv. I bought my husband a provari. It is a wonderful unit, but heavy. I have to say I do love my buzz pro. There are things about mods in general I need to learn. So far so good by the way no misfires with the switch yet since the small adjustments. Thanks all.

It most likely is the bottom cap not making contact , clean up the surfaces . We have a NEW bottom cap coming out today to replace the old ones that do not always work .

Mike, any idea when you will have the new brass bottom caps available? Love the BP and it is working great but with the new on/off caps it will be even more gooder. lol
