Any insight as to why my kayfun 3.1 produces more vapor when the tank is ~1/4full as opposed to fully filled?

With the juice level lower in the tank there is a larger air pocket. As you inhale and create a low pressure situation in the coil area, this larger air pocket can expand more than a smaller air pocket in a nearly full tank. When the air in the tank expands more it lets more juice enter through the juice channels. Air can expand, however juice can not. This is one of the reasons you do not want to fully fill the tank, the other reason being a full tank(with no air space) can not create a vacuum to suck unwicked juice back into the tank and will flood.

Thanks! This makes sense.
