ThreePutt is so right. Couldn't have said it better. First is the frantic search for the "just right" set up. It is so much fun!!! Then you find your favorite and "settle in". For me it still has a "hobby" aspect to it and probably always will. I figure as long as I pay my bills and can't be shot at sundown then I am not spending too much on my vaping hobby. Life is a wonderful journey so have fun.

Hmm.. I believe it's kinda overwhelming e 1st few days when u get ur PV. Then u put some research in n say, hey, this cartomizer should work btr for me rather than refilling cartridges on my atty. Then u look up cartos n saw some tanks n say, hey, i can vape all day w/o refilling. Suddenly, u realized tt yr 3ml tank is puny n say, hey, i'd btr get some mega tanks or smtg. N while u're at it, u might as well get some replacement cartos for ur tank. Maybe a 5-pack, n suddenly u realized u might need 10! N then u do sm reading n realized sm guys do dripping, then u're back at attys, n ordering some delrin tips, a few stainless steel drip tips maybe 1 or 2 ceramic tips. When all tt is done, u reliazed tt vaping is great n decided to get another PV, or two. I got my PV last week and 3 shipping requests, 2 mass orders and $400 poorer later, am stalking DHL and EMS. I promised myself not to order anymore but fellow forumers keep tempting me (but i love u guys!) n i hv only myself to blame. It's like an itch tt u can't stop scratching, a bubble wrap u can't resist popping and a juice u can't stop vaping.

OMG, that's it to a T! Someone actually described it like it IS!!!!!

I think i am going crazy. I've only been vaping for a week and I find myself purchasing more and more items. My total battery count is at 16, cartomizer count 157 and e liquid is 1660mls (once the last couple of orders arrive).

My question is, how do you tame the beast? I seem to enjoy vaping far too much. And everything about it interests me. Kind of scary! I feel content at the moment. My buying spree is over and done with for now. I just have a ridiculous surplus of vaping equipment.

This is a somewhat normal behaviour right?

I also went "crazy" looking for my wife and myself our set ups. We tried a analog device many years back and it was a joke. I saw a guy with a bb and tank and fell in love. Bought two for both of us and then found this wonderful site. The bb was solid till it went off in my pocket and burnt my leg when I went for a ride in my Harley-Davidson. I started to look for a mod I didn't have to take the batterys out on the bike and learned of the provari. Ordered one to see if it was worth the price with all the hype it had. Needless to say I have three between us two and 6 tanks. Now I just got into the gg stuff but for the most part its now just juice and cartos. It will and can taper down if you let it lol

WOW, now that's a quick accumulation. I'm giggling at your banner, "$53.98 saved".

I haven't saved anything so far, hahhaa. But if i stop buying stuff soon, I should make some money back :)

Although, I had a weird weeze in my chest (for about 6 months), two days after vaping it went away. Waking up in the morning, weight training and running is much better after a week. These little things 'allowed' me to over spend, and of course the talk about every kind of battery, cartomizer and e liquid on this forum!

Bought 3 kits in the first month (ego-T, screwdriver MkII and a Provari), plus 100 cartos from china, approx 40 flavours, dozen drip tips, and some large bottles of vg, pg, peg and nicotine. Then there's empty bottles, syringes, and carto punch. Just ordered a tackle box with drawers to put everything in. Think the thing is that vaping whilst surfing ecf and the rest of the net just goes so well together and the result is, lots of shiny things to uncover. :)

I guess you could say I'm an over-eager newb. I've only been vapeing now for a week, and I've had 2 penstyle models, and am waiting on my first manual 510 (Kgo). Along with Several types of juices, cartos and extras, and have my next order for a few spare atomizers for the 510, carts and cartos and a tank, plus enough liquid for about 4 months planned for the beginning of next week.

Even before I saw this thread, I sat here this morning, after planning out that next order, and thought my goodness, I'm really spending a LOT. So I figured it out--with EVERYTHING I've already bought, and adding in the next order's costs to it that will give me about 4 months supplies not to mention that much of the hardware (batteries, chargers, etc) will last much longer--I STILL have only spent about 1/2 of what I would have on cigarettes for the same amount of time.

That's huge considering I really smoked cheap when I was buying cigarettes: I did the roll your own, with the cheapest type of tobacco I could find. So even though it seems crazy, it's STILL far cheaper, and that doesn't even begin to account for the health benefits. My smoker's cough is GONE and it's only been a week. I was a 1 1/2 PAD dedicated smoker for 40 years.

TO the OP...I think you got the idea by now you're normal :)

I started vaping the same timeframe as you. I now have my original Halo G6 e-cig, a Buzz Pro VV (my favorite), and my newest toy the eGO-C. I have about 15 juices now by 5 or so vendors..... still looking for my daily vape, but found my LOVE it juice (Snickerdoodle by Ms T).

This is a very enjoyable experience as well as hobby!! Next I move on to DIY liquid.

Eh not that picky here, I did try the Blu first, big mistake. Got a Volcano Inferno next and don't need anything else as far as hardware, it's universal, the voltage works for me, I don't see a need for variable voltage mods for me, and the Inferno has enough options for recievers I can get about any type of flavor I want. My thing now is finding a good "Camel" type ejuice that I like for the cheapest I can find. My fav so far is the Shacks Lama from diyflavorshack, but it's one of the most expensive so I'm still looking.
