It could also be the echo. Who knows?
Well, she said she's come across posts about the newer automatics.
And I've come across a lot of posts about the newer automatic Bloog and Volt batteries.

But I don't recall seeing any posts about the newer Echo automatic batteries.
Are they automatic batteries? Are they really good?

There are tons of echo posts, I'll try to find one. Some really good, cheap deals. I don't have one but I'm thinking about getting one. The idea of an automatic battery makes me a little reluctant but I like the idea of the huge battery and huge cartomizer.

It would be nice if a person asking for advice would give a little information. There are lots of pvs with automatic batteries. Easier to narrow it down and help without playing guessing games or three pages of BLOOG! VOLT! over and over.

I was a pack a day smoker. I find myself vaping more often, and for longer periods of time, than I ever smoked analogs. This may not be a lot compared to others. I'm pretty new to this but if I had to guess, I'd say I vape between 2-3 mL per day so far.

The general rule of thumb that is always posted here is about an hour for each 100 mah

So if the battery is a 220-320 like you posted, that'd be around 3 hours approximately for a new battery. I'm not seeing how two batteries would last unless you were a light, occasional vaper. Some people are.

I'm not criticizing the pv. Just don't want to mislead new people reading that a battery will last 1/2 a day.

You must not vape very much.

I have 2 bloog batts and I love them. I vape almost non-stop and 2 batts last me most of the day:) These are far and away much better than the early 808's as far as power and batt life. Next order will be with Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | Wholesale Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarette | Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette for more batts etc. Cheaper prices and reasonable shipping charge:) I prefer manual batts and SI will be getting new manuals in on Thurs I believe :)IMHO

If you are using a small auto battery PV, it makes sense that you are vaping a good bit more. You are trying to replace a difficult habit with an inferior product. IMO, you can't get the warm vapor, throat hit, consistency and control with a small auto battery device that you can with a better (more power) battery manual PV.

Most of the day doesn't really answer a question for someone new reading this stuff. Does 'two batteries last me most of the day' are you telling someone they'll get 12 hours on a battery? That's what I'd think if I read this.

I'm not picking on anyone or the pv just attempting to get some accurate information here for newbies. If one of the Volt batteries lasts 12 hours, I'm going to pick one up pronto.

On a standard 280 mah kr808d-1 battery I typically got around 3 hours of use. On a 380 mah xl battery I would get more like 4-1/2 hours. This is what I would call moderate vaping run time, fairly soon after switching from pad smoking, using it multiple times per hour but not non-stop.

I don't really like automatics but of the ones I've used the SKYcig (BLUcig in the US) ones are my faves. The bat life on them isn't good (though the PCC alleviates this a little bit) and I've had them leak entire carts through auto switching on at times, but the ease with which they vape is very good for an auto. In comparison the intelicig EVO needs you to suck it so hard you'll be in danger of ingesting the entire ecig in your throat through sheer force...

Quit picking on me Swedishfish:laugh: I get about 4-5 hrs on each batt:2cool: Much improved over the ones that were out 2 yrs ago. I never thought I'd have an 808 again, but these really are good and the carto's are easier and faster to fill.:vapor:

Wow! Thank you for all the replies! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but I am on the road heading North to visit family and friends. In the motel now and the first thing I did other than check my mail was to head here straight away.

I've used Riva's 510's, carts/atty's, cartos. Riva's are now my backups (6 of them). Tried the Ego-T ("a" tanks I think) and very dissatisfied with them. I now use the Ego-T batts and cartos. The batts are really long lasting and I am a heavy vaper, IMO. Alway sucking on that thing, LOL! I also use a pass through and drip or finish off a carto I've started and then drip. Probably use about 5 ml a day. Not really concerned about a TH but do appreciate flavor so I tend to go heavier on the VG. Currently 25 PG/75 VG only because I know the VG is rough on the equipment.

@cactusgirl...Thanks for the link on the New Echo. I think that's the one that caught my eye and would really love to get feedback from someone who actually uses it. 3 mil's WOW. Sounds too good to be true.

I so appreciate knowing the various models. It will be so much easier for me to check them out. I wouldn't want to give up the stability of the manuals but sure would like a break from pressing that button so often during the day. My thumb joints are complaining. Having a fairly reliable automatic handy for a break now and then or for the quick run to the store would be a nice change of pace.

You guys and gals are great!

Check out the suppliers forum. Bill, a member now a new supplier has a really great deal on the Echo.

edit: Here's the thread. PM him to see what he has left.

    in a cave, eh?
I have a really bad suggestion for an auto ...ish. The Boge Revolution v1. It uses a touch sensor. It's actually kind of a neat little device, but only the cartridges are replaceable. And you have to program the good settings with your computer. It's basically a disposable that you may be able to find somewhere at a bargain price.
