Hello all!

i started this thread A while back, looking for some motivation for myself, and others looking to get the "devil" (analogs) off of there back.

I started using snus about 1 month ago, and initially loved the taste, however between portions, could only think about my next "smoke"

Many of the great people on this forum, encouraged me to not worry about smoking an analog whenever i felt was necessary. So I didn't. I would smoke when i felt necessary (and although be disappointed in myself for doing so) I would continue to snus.

So now, (one month later) I have added "snuff" to my arsenal and I am so proud of the results!

Although i am not completely analog free, I am down to 1 analog a day. That is with my coffee in the morning. I have been a pack a day smoker, for 20 years (menthol's) and this is such an accomplishment for myself! The end of the "analog" road is in sight. I now believe my kids have a fighting chance at not being "victims" of cigarettes.

I snus about 6-8 portions a day, and take a "shot" of nasal snuff during the difficult times (after a meal, breaks at work, stressful day) and this is working awesome for me!

My only intention for this post, is to give somebody in my same shoes a light of hope. The "willingness" and "want" to quit are key, but he snus and snuff are making this so much easier for myself!

Thank you so much to the great people on this forum who have given me words of encouragement, and "priceless" advice to help me on my mission to give up analogs!

For any newcomer's to this forum, DONT be afraid to ask for help. The people here are great! Good luck to all!!!!

Laguna, I too am glad things are going well for you. For many of us it is a combination of things that it takes to get us thru the day. Good luck to you.
