Any way to tighten the 510 connection?

I've noticed that the 510 connection on my Vamo is getting a little wobbly. I'm not very rough on it, but I can now grab whatever tank is mounted on top and wiggle it around a little bit.

I should note, I haven't had an actual connection issue, or had the device not fire when I've hit the button. But if there's an easy way to tighten the connection up, so whatever I have on it doesn't wobble, I'm all ears.

Threads stripped on Vmax got another. Threads stripped on other, got a Vamo. Threads stripped on Vamo, got another. Threads stripped on it, put a little piece of paper towel in thread hole. Now I've got four working devises. go figure

The threads are fine. It's the 510 connection post itself that has a little play.

it's a pressed in connection so you can try pressing it back in..might solve it and it might wreck it altogether..a weak point on the Vamo unfortunately..

also rnoserious has a video of taking the vamo apart..you just wiggle the top head off with channel lock pliers..you might be able to epoxy it from underneath..or if you had a fine syringe you could try epoxy from the top in the drip well..that would lock her in..

My Vamo is also getting wobbly now! had it for maybe 3 months now. I believe its wobbly because the threading is going. I will try out the paper and see if that helps. how did you apply the paper to the threading?

Sometimes its not the vamo but the atty you put on it,I thought there was a problem with mine when I first bought it but it ended up being the vivi nova,It was a little bent.

everything i put on my vamo is not wobbly. when i used to put on my aga-t2, it would sit tight, and flush, now it is a bit raised and wobby everytime i touch it. and cartos wont even lock in anymore. they will always wobble or get stuck slanted where the only way I can fix it is either unscrewing or bending it back which both messes up the thread even more

Hope you can fix. Best way to avoid stripping your threads on your device is buy a 510 to 510 adaptor, this way it won't look as good but you will strip the adaptor first and then just replace it. Always be careful when putting your head on so you don't cross thread and don't over tighten.

i tried a 510-510 extender, but it wont screw in all the way to make connection. any ideas people? i tried paper and i dont think I did it right. thinking of using plumber tape next.

the only thing that will fit on my vamo almost firmly now is my aga-t2 =(

update for you guys, paper does work, just gotta cut or tear out paper on the connector so it makes conection. white plumbing tape works also. i'm gonna keep fixing and using my vamo till it dies!
