O.K got vamo today and was wondering if that small top section comes off, looks like the battery compartments,But on top. Also I noticed the battery pole/connection shifts a little but it not as bad if I really tighten down.meaning the battery connection pole is not completely tight or stable,It does move a little,is this common?? Besides that it very easy to operate.

Hey Steve welcome,

The very top sleve will come off but only if you want to completely disassemble your Vamo. I would advise not removing it unless you absolutely have to. As far as the battery connection inside the tube at the top, yes I think a little bit of play is normal as with different batts you are going to have a very slight difference in size and also if you use a single 18350, stacked 18350's, or single 18650 and your spring pressure from the end cap you probably would want a little give to it.
Have fun learning the ins and outs of your new finely tuned Vapor machine!!

Thanks SpEcTReCHieF But I think you misunderstood what I meant, but I am talking about where the tank, atty ect screws in,It shifts just a little.

Oh yes the atty connection is a little wobbly on these unless you screw it in and tighten the atty or whatever down. I think that is a norm with most of them from what I have heard. Also some of us have had problems with certain tanks like the vivi etc. If you tighten them down to far they won't fire, and you will not get a ohms reading off of them so you have to back it off half turn or so then will fire and read fine. Good luck with it.

Mine has absolutely no wiggle when tightened down all the way. In fact, I used my Vamo's 510 connection to straighten out a mini nova's bottom cap that had become crooked. That required pressure and wiggling ... the connection was solid.

If you don't have it tightened down all the way you may experience some wiggle ... but that's what you'll experience with any device really.

Well it appears as though it was the mini vivi nova that was crooked, Not the vamo.

Yeah, as I said earlier ... that happened to me as well. Of course, it happened after I dropped my Vamo with the mini on it a few times. lol! Honestly, my Vamo + Mini Nova combo has been a pretty dang durable one.

This is the first time I owned a device that checks the resistance,I have a 2.8 vivi head that was giving me an awful burning taste in my ego twist and I had this set around 4.6V. And the vamo reads it at 2.0 so I lowered the volts to about 4.0 and it vapes perfect.

Having an ohm meter/voltmeter has pretty much become a must these days ... rarely do you get something that is rated at its correct resistance. Not a huge deal for me though since I "vape to taste" and don't use standard voltage devices outside of my mechanical mods that use genesis atomizer which are much more forgiving when it comes to voltage.
