Any Wine Drinkers?

So I enjoy a glass of wine pretty often. It's one of those, "everyone leave me the hell alone and let me relax" things.

If so what do you vape with it? I find that Duclis or a very weak RY4 will go with most Zinfandels and Chardonnays, I think 555 would be ok as well. Peach does the job and I think almost compliments the wine.

Anyone else?

I've never really gotten into the Red Wines but I think I may delve into that realm. I did have some sparkling red wine a couple weeks back at Olive Garden, what was interesting is that it was served cold. Something rare for red wines.

What do you vape with your red wines?

Any suggestion on a good red? (something not to dry)

I would think nutty flavors would work well with wine. I'm not a wine drinker myself really, more of a beer and whiskey guy, but I was a bartender at a wine bar for years. One of the "notes" often mentioned is "nutty". I'd imagine that it would compliment well and bring out those flavors. That chilled red wine was more than likely Lambrusco. We always served that chilled.

Yea your right it was Lambrusco.

As for the nutty tastes I also agree, which I why I like the RY4 flavors so long as it's not too strong, to me RY has a nutty type taste to it. (Although everyone has different taste buds)

Never really been a whiskey fan, that is some strong stuff. But then again I've only ever tried the cheap end whiskey, perhaps stepping it up would change my mind.

Try sipping some Jameson. Pretty good without being super pricey, but if you've got the cash, try their 12 Y.O. stuff. It's amazing. Buttery, nutty... even more complex than most wines. I haven't had the 15 year stuff, but I imagine it's amazing. Crazy expensive though.

I usually have a glass of Jameson neat to sip with a beer back.

Just re-read your posts. For white wines I would definitely go with vanilla, as that's often a flavor associated with whites. Also, read a write up about the wine you're going to drink. Most likely, especially with whites, a fruit will be mentioned. Try a fruit flavor that pairs up with that and I think it would be really good. Almost makes me want to try it, but when I'm drinking wine it's usually red and in small amounts. Wine gives me headaches if I drink too much of it (like more than 2 glasses, while I can endlessly drink beer without getting one), but I really like a robust red with a steak. Usually Montepulciano.

I just had some steak tonight, man it was good. I'll definitely give that a shot and see how it goes.

I hear quite a few people get headaches with wine, I used to but not so much anymore. I can usually pound away 2-3 glasses without an issue. (Except being able to walk straight) I just got back from a cruise to Cabo San Lucas and on our "at sea" day I managed to polish off an entire bottle during dinner. Man that's bad. I thought damn maybe I'm an alcoholic lmao

I wouldn't worry. Even with the headaches I've finished off 2 1/2 before getting too sleepy. That's the other thing, wine makes me much more sleepy than other alcoholic beverages, so it's not so good for social drinking for me either. Beer and whiskey I'll literally drink all day and into the night. If it's gonna be that long a session though (like a bbq or camping trip), I try to keep it to beer so as not to get stupefied.
