I made a single holder out of an old scrap of 2x4 one night and the next morning my wife had this plan for me to make. For her of coarse, lol
For the photo she just placed the color stones on it to get an idea if she wanted to glue them or not. she decided not to put them on. The small single block in the background is one of the small ones i made at first. We both have the multi hole holders on our desk for other things such as tanks, cart's,tips and whatever else we need. So what we have done is go through our home and replace the ashtrays with these wood holder/blocks.lol

NOTE: this is made to the length of a shelf of her desk and does not sit out in the center of her desk in the way it is shown in the photo. :)

OK, I think we need to start a new thread. show off your ego holder

Very nice. Similar to what I want to do. Just need to find out if I have any friends that own a drill press to make it a little easier to do. :)

I've been meaning to do this myself. You don't really need a drill press for this though, since it'll be sitting on a flat surface.

You could also drill all the way through, then attach a plate or something underneath.

I think it's a Swiss design, not 100% sure, though.

I am glad there are some that like the wood stand i made and as TenCentcat said you don't need a drill press. I used an old auger bit in a hand drill and tried to stop before going all the way through and tried to get them all the same depth but thats not a problem being after it was sanded and stained my wife had the idea of using cotton to fill the bottom of each hole to not only level each hole but to soak any juice that might leak out of the bottom of any tank, cart and such that might do so.
Another tip that might help if you make one and want to get it as smooth as you can,is i used a small pen torch to burn out each hole a little to get rid of all the little splinters and chips the bit didn't removed when i drilled it. the sanding was the hardest part but with the help of a pet pedi-paw dog nail trimmer (dremal tool type of device)it made sanding inside each hole a little faster, lol. use what ya got operation going on here,.
A side note: Many years ago i worked at a marble company cutting marble that went around fireplace's and would throw away 40 or 50 small scraps of marble every day anywhere from 6x5 inches to 7x10 and in every color there is. i would always try and think of a use for those pieces being they was just thrown in a dumpster. Now i have a use for them . i would drill and polish them much like the wood. I did save a few pieces but they are the ones that had a natural image of something in the grain and i only have a few of those still around.
Well i sort of got off track there so i'll say again,Thanks and have a nice evening,Rob.

Question: Where are you guys getting the vinyl wrap, like carbon fiber and what have you?

I seen in one thread a fella had covered a few of his pv's and they looked really nice. cant find the thread but after a little searching my history i found the link he had posted to the site he got his material. They have all sorts of colors and such and i remember the fella said it was fairly easy to use. This is the link.. Metro Decals | Products > Carbon Fiber Vinyl
Take care,,Rob.

Verrrry cool! May I inquire where you got the battery? If that's a mini, I've only seen black ones available, but I much prefer stainless steel.

That is the 350mAh mini. It had the super shorty 22mm clear carto on there. I got mine at gotvapes.com over the weekend sale.

Rats! I ordered a ton of stuff from them over the weekend, but I only saw the black mini's as part of a kit so I refrained. Guess I'll have to take another look. Thanks for the info!

Just chiming in to say that I love what y'all have done with your ego batts! I've been vaping for 8 months and am still a hard core ego girl...just never got into advanced mods/big battery devices. I'm all about the simplicity, reliability, and awesome price points on these babies. I will have to post pictures of my set ups when my 2 new Kgos come in next week.

Yo! Just got my first ego! Twist! With a ce4 or stardust or whatever it's called. Really like it so far! Before this I had a cheap rechargeable battery and a cartomizer I sorta popped open so that I could refill it. I have some cheap juice right now, but I'm hoping to pick up some Alice in Vapeland when I get some dollars lol
