First time I've seen this battery.

If it stacks up to battery bench testing, this will be a welcome addition to vapers, especially those who would like to use them in 18350 mechanical mods with Rebuildable Atomizers.

Been watching it and it seems the jury is still out on those.

I have one of the 35 amps and it functions well, just waiting for an inline voltage meter to see just how well it functions with different mods and atties. Not using it for anything crazy, no 0.3 ohm coils lol. Doesn't seem to hit as hard as my green sony 18650 VTC4s.

I'm still wondering what to buy next. My AW 18650 LMRs are still doing fairly well after 2 years of charging and rotating 4. I generally get 24 hours of vaping out of two of them, so each gets charged once every other day. That's about life for an LMR ... 360 charge cycles.

2.0A at 3.3v on a 1.6 ohm coil at 6.8 watts. When I say 24 hours on two batteries, I'm talking changing the battery around 8am or 9am and again around 5pm to 6pm. The second one gets me to the next morning, but I'm sleeping for 8 of those hours.

I started this morning about 9 with a newly charged batt. I just noticed that it's flashing the red light and battery check shows 3.2v under load. I normally try to change at 3.5v, but I overextended today and it's 7:35.

For your application I would seriously consider Panasonic NCR18650PF 2900mAh 10A cells. They have enough safe amp draw to use in a regulated mod. They are also safer chemistry and good for mechanical mods down to around 0.7 ohms. Plus 2900 mAh will be a nice improvement over your 1600 or 2000 mAh AWs.

This may be a stupid question but am I missing something? How are these better than the standard red 18350's? They have 800 maH's and I thought they were also 10 amps. I'm sure I'm half asleep.on this thread but not seeing the improvement.

The AW 18350s are 6 amps max. That is the maximum that is available in this size right now and makes sub ohm setups not recommended with them.

1. I always associate Alibaba with forty thieves?
2. Do they supply a shoehorn so you can squeeze an 18mm dia. battery into 12mm dia. ego twist?

I will still use my vtc4 for my 0.5 ohm dripper but my ADV is my kraken at about 0.9-1.0 ohms. I'd be good with a 7 amp cap but want some longer life than 800 mAh. Sorry to take off on a tangent.

Efest = 800
AW = 700

My AWs retain capacity longer than my Efest although I use both. Both are under 7amps (6A & 6.4A). But 0.9-1ohm is still outside the red zone.
