I broke yet another glass tube today. I am such a klutz. Now I need to order more as I have no spares. Where is the cheapest place to by Kabuki glass? HoH is $10, but $6 flat shipping. ProVape is $11.99 plus shipping - help?

IBTanked has the glass for $5

Despite the fact that I'm typing, I'm speechless. juice never tasted this good. Full bodied. Lush. Nuanced. I am in awe.

Im not a fan of IBTanks tbh.

The reason they can offer their tanks for so cheap, as opposed to Phiniac for example, is because they use much thinner glass.

Someone mentioned in another thread that IBTanked is offering a larger capacity glass for the Kabuki as well.....and Zen said they shouldnt be doing that.

I've used them with carto tanks & for the Kabuki now and never had 1 break - their shipping is really good to the UK and their o-rings also fit (at least with their tanks - haven't tried with others). They do sell larger 'z' tanks but they don't recommend those for the Kabuki. Loving the kabuki - just ordered another

The glass I received from them is of the same thickness as the the fused quartz I got with my Kabuki. IBTanked sells two different Zen tubes. One is the Zen Short tube and the other is Zen Long tube. It is clearly stated that the Zen short tube is for the Kabuki....

Vaporwerx coils shipped today. Just wanted to update you guys.

As far as tank glass, I too got an SS one because of my fear of breaking another glass. After that, I picked up some spectrum tanks and have been going with those ever since. Nice and thick, no issue with removal from the device for cleaning. Top notch glass, and about 11 or 12 bucks each. totally worth it. Smoke tanks should be back in stock soon.

I just ordered two more Kabuki :). At 14.2 watts (down from my 20+, of late) and I'm still stunned. I've been mostly vaping 3mg nic, but filled the tank with 6mg, assuming the lower wattage would require more nic. Very, very bad assumption. How can this be?!

Does anyone know where to get clear O rings for the Kabuki? I ordered different colors from HoH, but didn't see clear. Please forgive me if asked and answered ...

The kabuki cannot take a larger tank due to the construction method. It's parts screw together to form the chamber and set the juice flow. IN THEORY, one could alter the juice flow to the wick by unscrewing the top cap, and thus exposing more of the wicking holes to the tank's interior, which would then allow you to use a slightly larger tank. This is not really practical, however, as your gains would be negligible and in all probability cause leaking. In order for the kabuki to accept a larger capacity, one of two things (or both) needs to happen. A channel would have to be cut into the top cap around the 'chimney' section deep enough to get another milliliter or so in the tank (a la Kayfun top caps), or the 'chimney section would need to be elongated so that the coil screws in the same amount and sets up the same way but requires a taller glass section to connect the two halves.

meh, I could see adding a channel inside the already existing top cap, but I personally wouldn't want a taller Kabuki. To me, part of its appeal is its size.

The wall of the glass is the same. To get thicker glass, the ID of the Kabuki base would have to be smaller- like 17mm. The wall is always the same for any tube if the OD and ID are identical...

On the left is an IBTanked glass, Kabuki on the right.

Peter - is steel out of question for you?

I ordered two, as backups, and Kat didn't want hers. I won't tell you what she told me to do with it, but I can absolutely promise you that I did NOT follow her instructions.

Therefore it's in fine shape.

Anyway, let me know if...

That wasn't the STEEL one I mentioned......... ;)

Mox and gin, please give us a report on the coils. So far, it's been less than positive.
