Yeah, that should hold you for a bit!

Zen, did you ever decide which was better the Samsung 25R or the AW 3000mAh? Thanks.
In the Radius... 25R and AW mAh have pretty similar run times. SLIGHT edge for the AW... VERY slight.

Zen, thank you for the quick response.

I tried something over the weekend. I took ALL of my batteries and made sure the contacts were clean, then I ran them through a couple of P3s, also clean, and checked the IQs. The AW 3000mAh batteries that I have scored in the 80's. The Samsung from the Radius was 94/95. And three of my AW 18350s were POOR! No wonder they were not lasting.

... despite it being a heavy thread derail - I really enjoyed learning about TC and it has certainly saved me some serious $s. I will wait until something is created that gets Zen's tick of approval and hopefully something from ProVari. Having said that I am completely happy with my P3 and looking forward to my new Radius.

The proverbial silver lining... ;)

I've noticed the new AW 18350s with the black stripe give a poor IQ reading. I wonder if its something to do with the internal resistance of the batteries? If Provape designed the Radius to be as efficient as possible it would make sense that they would go with the Samsung 25r if they have low internal resistance.

All of my AWs regardless of size are the black stripe versions. Out of all the sizes and a total of 18 or so, only three of the 18350s were bad. I didn't date them, but I just figured they were the oldest and needed replacing.

I've watched the video on using the kabuki but one thing that isn't addresses is the bottom Allen screw. So if I put the coil in then tighten it down at a certain point it starts to push the insulator out. Though it still feels like it is somewhat loose or can be tighter.

How far is the bottom screw that controls contact supposed to be screwed in ?

I'm guessing twizzle (that's my technical term) it gently until it stops. Don't use any torque on the screw at all basically soon it with weak finger strength until it stops. ?

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

reading this thread has caused me to revisit my nautilus. my mainstays are a couple of kayfuns but I try some of the new tanks. the subtank mini was pretty good with a 1.5 coil in the rba but not good for mtl.mthe triton was
pretty good for mtl but I found after the newness wore off I lost interest. I tried my nautilus and found it pretty darn good and it made its way into my rotation for occasional use. a p3 kabuki is now on my must have list and it's all your fault. oh,and a radius too.

Well I wasn't a fan of the nautilus in many ways. I felt the flavor of the kanger mow setups was better to be honest. Though it made less vapor. The kabuki is a mile ahead of it. So if it can convert someone who didn't love the nautilus you're in for a treat!

Took a couple minutes today and finished the ends of one of the pieces of polycarbonate that I chopped up over the weekend:

Turned out pretty good, seals are tight, we'll see how it does down at the bottom of the fill...
