Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
Hi Guys :)

First id like to thank the person (sorry -dont remember who it was ...) who gave me the link to where I could find the Raspberry Gloss P3 in Europe! (Creme de Vape UK)

I received it yesterday and I love it,it's so beautiful !but then again I fell in luv with it as soon as I saw the pic posted in this thread about 2 weeks ago!

Next- I also received my steel replacement tank for my Kabuki .
The problem is, it 's making my juice taste funny/nasty .I filled it with one of my ADV's, a high vg vanilla-custard and it tastes horrible!
Thought it would go away after a few puffs but it hasnt so far...I havent managed to get even half way through the tank though..Should I force myself to persist? It would really be like downing medicine but....Will it eventually go away if I manage to get thru this first tank?

Or should I try washing it out with something particular ?
....put it thru the ultra-sonic cleaner ?

It has sUCH a nasty taste but I really NEED to use it, another one of my glass tanks broke and I probably wont be getting my next vape-mail from CDV in time for the WE...
(another Kabuki 510 + several glass replacement tanks on the way...Gotta keep 5 setups going ;)...cant wait till they get in those plastic tanks, am fed up with these glass ones, very hard to keep enough replacements in stock at home when you have a cat !)

So if anyone has a suggestion for how to remove the nasty taste on this SS tank ?Id appreciate it ! :)
I boil my vape gear three times.

First with dawn.

Second two times with clean water.

No One Should Have to Vape Machine Oil.

Took a couple minutes today and finished the ends of one of the pieces of polycarbonate that I chopped up over the weekend:

Turned out pretty good, seals are tight, we'll see how it does down at the bottom of the fill...

That drip tip is super sexy, I wish it came in black delrin.

Not really that impressed with the Kabuki thus far, out of 2 packs of coils 7 of them haven't worked. Half won't thread into the base and the others end up getting stuck in the chimney and spin for days and get wrecked coming out with pliers. So I guess I should say I'm not impressed with the coils and well the Kabuki is nice to look at, without coils that work it's a pretty useless tank.

May I suggest you get verified by ECF and put it up for sale in the classifieds section.

Or, send it to HOH, get given a replacement and give it one more go.

No one atty system is right for everyone.

Hey anyone having problems with the kabuki 510 and the provari p3? I adjust the pin both ways and I keep getting an op error.

Something similar happened to me with one of my first 510 kabukis last month : none of my provari P3s would recognize it, non e of my other mods would either, the provaris gave me the OP error message, the isticks said "no atomizer" etc.

There is apparently a frequent connection prob like that with some 510's, several people have written about it.

I wrote the shop i had purchased from (Creme de vape UK) and they told me to pull the end of the coil out a bit...that worked...but its a pain having to jiggle the coil around with plyers everytime i change coils!

Normally you can return it to where ever it was purchased and I would advise that if this is indeed your case.I didnt at the time and figured it would be easy enough to just "pull out the coil a bit" each time I put in a new coil but in the long run its turned out to be a real nuisance that is ruining the "convenience " aspect for me (im not handy nor a coil builder).

You could try that "fix" as a quick solution meanwhile.

Seems to me the most common reason has been that the coil is not tight on to the base---try making it really snug.

You can also try another coil --- unfortunately some nauti coil pins are longer than others.

I've had to use longer coils for the P3 version, but not the 510 ever---even the old BDC's work with it.

Keep your used coils that worked without any fiddling and then swap the pin from these with any coil that won't connect (after trying tightning etc.). If the pin length is the problem this will fix it - takes a few seconds and will only need to be done once. (It's also a way to get the new triton mini coils to work with the 510 - I haven't tested this long term but they will fire if you do this).
A while back someone posted a pic of their Kabuki with purple o rings, but I can't find that post. Does anyone have any idea where to get them? I need a bit more purple in my life. :)
They are IBtabked o-rings. I use with the ibtanked kabuki (short) glass

Mayday, mayday I have a Kabuki issue.

I recently received my new Stealth P3 Kabuki - this is my second one. Suffice to say I was so impressed that I needed another :). I have had no problems with my first and was able to easily sort out initial concerns about some of the naughty coils no aligning correctly in the chimney - but with the new one I have encountered a problem. This new P3 was recently sent to my local vendor from provape so it must be from the latest shipment.

Anyway, it the base is not tightening down securely. I found with the old one i had to back turn and it would have a slight drop that must have been 0.5mm or something like that to seat it and then I would righty tighty to secure and vape. With this one the coil will drop almost all of the way down immediately on the back turn so it is almost seated, righty tighty doesn't get tighty - it will spin - I wouldn't say it spins loosely but is doesn't tighten.

As I said this is not my first P3 Kabuki but it is my first real problem - and it is just with this brand new one.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Has there been any changes to the P3 base of late? I am guessing my first one would have been one of the earlier production runs.

I have the same issue with the coils just spinning. It seems to just be bad stock. I don't think it is the tank because some coils work fine. Very frustrating though, coils end up costing a lot when 1 or 2 out of 5 work. :-/

I have had this experience twice. It has nothing to do with the tank and everything to do with the poor quality assurance people at the coil manufacturer. Of note, both failures came from the same 5 coil blister pack. Three worked perfectly, others worked fine in a standard nautilus and were relegated to the wife's Nautilus Mini stash but displayed the exact same problem you described above.

Well thanks for confirming I am not the only one. I guess I'll just have to hope for a better batch of coils next time.

It's my current favorite, I picked up five of them. I like SS drip tips, and I usually polish the tips of them on a 6" buffing wheel.

Has anybody used the new Triton 2 Mini coils for their Kabuki? The new Triton Mini uses nautilus style coils, and come in more options then the BVCs

Smart move by Aspire making uniform coils. Not sure if it's actually out yet (the coils or mini triton) here's more info:

I really want one, not sure if I can get them shipped to Canada or not but I think I'll look into that .. I would be happy with a metal one in black even. It would probably look better that way on the Stealth. Might have to settle for one of those black mini ionizer ones if I can get that shipped here. Just using a Subtank tip now and it looks slightly better than the stock one did.
