CL:
Since the Kabuki isn't known to leak, (One of the few that doesn't), why put them in a position to be knocked over? Why not simply lay the device on its side rather than standing, just waiting to fallover and break? My Kabuki has NEVER leaked and if on a Provari 2.5, is always laid on its side, The radius is left standing, but I no longer have a Cat. But I still have to watch out for my Wife. LOL---
For the poster that said his leaks, try not to inadvertently blow back thru it when taking a draw. this is about the only way to make one leak, unless you are using extremely thin juice.![]()
Hmmm, thanks for the suggestion but I think it would be even worse laying flat, it would roll off the table onto the floor. My cat likes rolling things even better than knocking stuff over! Yes, she's very naughty and spoiled.... she has lots of toys but she likes my toys better
By the way I live in an 18th century building, EVERYTHING is uneven and slanted, the floors the walls etc etc. things "roll "off really easily
Really the glass breakage situation is a lot better now, i have some SS tanks just in case (hate them but better than being left stranded), ive ordered in some Poly tanks, also have some pyrex ones on order from spectrum,Im sure ill be just fine with all those new options!
As for leaking, have never had that problem with my kabukis.
