Welp, coolerat, you know me, and you know DPLongo22. We're both still avid Naughty users. Yes, of course we love the Kabuki as well, and another not so popular, but friggin awesome tank. The coils still appear to be readily available, other than on FT. They ARE available there, but one needs to jump thru a hoop or two to get them,,, but they can be had.

I don't disagree that everyone should own a RB tank in this current climate of change. I/we do, and hope upon HOPE not to have to use them. I'm not so sure that building a coil for a KF set to a resistance that will match up with our Provi 2.5s is going to be all that "crazy easy". Not so much, I'm afraid. I've seen "pro" builders do it, and struggle huge time. When the time comes, I will be eagerly asking for recommendations for specific premade coils that will match the vape style and power levels we now employ.

Are there no men in Roxy's thread? :)

I've never found if difficult to build for a KF for my 2.5's at all.

thanks for the Focal link Kat!

I am finding it increasingly difficult to find Nautilus BVC 1.8 ohm coils at a decent price. Given I have five Kabuki's and Jackie has one, I'm about to go off and spend a mint on coils. Any help in this area will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

About the continued availability of coils: it's gonna be a business decision for Aspire. But, in the old days of Gillette etc. razors, where they made their money was in the continued purchase of blades, not in the razors themselves.
I'll be very surprised if coils/tanks is diff for Aspire.

And, I won't forget starting out with glass tanks long ago. Changing a whatever, probably a carto, in a glass tank, probably from iBtanked, in my old house's soapstone sink and washing the tank. Slippery little devil. Glass shards all over the sink. It was my only tank at the time. Bummer. I haven't broken any tank since. And our cats, well sorry, but they do not get on top of surfaces which hold food or plates or mods.

I guess I'm in a different boat. I enjoy building coils. I tried the Kabuki for two reasons. I don't DYI my liquids very often and the Aromamizer and Bellus were eating me out of house and home with the amount they guzzle. And the Kabuki seemed that it would use a LOT less juice. And It Does!

Secondly, I wanted something that when on the road, I could pop a coil into when I didn't have the time or ability to builds a coil if my wick fried. (It happens!).

Add the NO Leaking of the Kabuki, and it is a Win-Win for me.

With the added joy of being able to get a product from someone like ZEN who actually gives a "S" about quality, a very good price for the quality of workmanship, high materials, original design, and is made here. More than enough Win-wins to get my patronage.

some day, some way, I WILL have one of his ZNA devices. Yes I will!!!:) In the meantime, it is the Kabuki, or Aromamizer, on the Radius for me. I'm a happy Man!:2cool:

Folks, I still use Protank 2's, and those are considered obsolete by most vapers today. Funny thing is, you can find those coils for 5$ a pack now;) I really am not that concerned about the future availability of Nautilus coils. If anything, there may be fewer vendors going forward, but on a positive spin, they could quite possibly even come down in price in future times. China doesn't like to miss out on any opportunity to grab a few US Buckaroonies LMFAO!!!

Yep! You done gone and went C-R-A-Z-Y!
It's not like I won't use them :) The Kabuki's don't have anything to wear out or break, ( and I have about 2 feet of polycarb tubing to spare;))

I'm a Vapocalypse prepper vaper these days, Gallons of base, triple redundant atomizers and power supplies, and other things. Anything added to the stash at this point is just icing on the cake! :D

Gotta lub ya. Purrrrrrfect, gneez!

Ok, not a bad idea! Not bad at tall!

Actually he wasn't set on thicker is better, or the mech mindset. He complained tho, that it was such a tiny area to make a coil in the high resistance I was wanting (I think I asked if he could make it between 1.5 and 1.8 ohms). It's 1.4 now.

But that's neither here nor anywhere now. IF/when the time comes, might I call on you for some input please?

And this is NOT a building thread, so I'll agree with tearose and not discuss it. :)
Anytime you want help feel free to pm me. Well close the discussion here though [emoji4]
