The 510 is not dead just will not be what the current 510 is. From this (and previous talks with zen in other threads) going forward, the 510 kabuki will be a p3 version with an adapter. The exact details of this package Zen has not posted yet.
Be patient people. Zen is dealing with major destruction to his shop and the ZFO and I'm sure will post details when his headaches are dealt with.

Interesting quotes. Since he's saying that the P3 will survive and saying that it is compatible with the TM coils I'm wondering if there has been talk about the Nauti coils being discontinued after all. I know he's said the TM coils don't compare to the flavor on the Nauties, but it would certainly make the P3 more "future proof".
For me, the biggest draw for the Kabuki is it's size (or lack there of). Adding an adapter just to get a 510 would make it way too tall IMO. Guess I'll just have to get a Provari eventually <sigh>
Wait, what??? You don't have a Provari?? All the elite kids have one, so you should too! (said in jest and meant to be humorous, but once you own a Provari, you won't go back)
But........Ti is close to one half the weight of the ss. And alu. would be 1/4. if I remember right!

Update. Well I, in a late night haste, pulled the trigger on a Z2, but I need a 510. I was able to easily cancel the order. But now in search of in stock 510s

What I recall is that Zen is working on an adapter. Sometime ago on this thread he said it would add only 1/8" to the height.
I seem to recall that it might be coming out about now or perhaps soon --- but I could have been simply hoping it would.
The Ti prototype is P3 and Gnees won the first one! Will it come out later at Z2 or 510? Even the Zenmaster might not have that entirely decided at this point.
As to an adapter coming with a P3 Kabuki --- sounds like a great plan to me, but I believe is purely conjecture at this point.

I too was brand loyal for many years until one day I stumbled across a cheaper brand which tasted so much like the Newports I smoked.
People often say Apple users are elitist. But I use Apple & Samsung so I guess that just makes me confused. [emoji851]

Yep he is making the adapter. The size reference he made was in comparison to the p3 size not the current 510 version. Iirc it would be in between the p3 and current(former?) 510. Someone with both could measure as I only have the p3.Just one thing all of you ---

Release was estimated to be around February but with the damage to the shop I expect it will be delayed a bit.
I hope repairs are going well Zen. Oh and I look forward to the disaster blem sale. My wallet isn't but I am [emoji23]
