LOL I'm with Lex on this one -- I don't usually don't charge, er change, my O rings on anything, unless I have to. Doing so has been known to make me up my nic level for a day or two.

I do confess, the new silicone, glow in the dark and neon rings at HOH sure are enabling me to want to tackle the project. I even obtained a "dental pick" tool to assist in the task. :)

Last time I used my dental pick tool I ended up snapping orings to smithereans!!! They'd go flying in the air never to be seen again.[emoji38]Found it much less challenging with some cuticle tool that has a tiny lip to it.

Slide under, lift, remove.

!!! G*NOTE FIVE !!!

It appears that the Stealth Kabuki is available...I believe it wasn't for a time. What say anyone as to durability of finish for said rig, please?

I can add that mine is not good at all. The finish is not coming off in patches like some others describe, but it very quickly started showing silver on any edge. It continues to wear off with normal daily use.

As much as I like the Kabuki I would not recommend a Stealth model to anyone.

The Ti Kabuki is actually a really close match to the satin silver of the standard Radius.

Then show me pics you should!

On the stealth, I have 3. Two look as good as the day I bought them. The third was a blem purchase a while back. That one is shedding some finish on the edges but that being said its still a black Kabuki and looks great sans the tad bit of SS poking through the top edges. And it WAS a blem so I don't blame anyone.

Now where was I? Oh yea, pics on the Ti Kabuki on some box mods...

Oh and since I practice what I preach, this Stealth Kabuki has several months hard labor on it and still flawless..

This was a blem, the edge chip started to spread so I helped it along :)

I don't mind it one bit since it was a blem, the rest of the finish seems to be doing fine for me.

Mine wearing in the exact same place, just not quite as advanced as yours.

Mine was about 1/2 way around the edge, so I held it to a piece of 320 grit at a 45 deg. angle and gently spun it to make it even.

Looks like Mount Baker Vapor has a version 1.5 of the Kabuki in both blue and black. Appears to be native P3 connection with a 510 adaptor.

I also noticed that they now have the black tip/o-ring 1.0 version back in stock. It's been a while. I hope that's a sign that Zen has things pretty much back on track.

Since I haven't seen anything official, are we now referring to the original model as 1.0 and the P3 model with 510 adapter as 1.5?

These pictures show the Ti Kabuki on my standard ghost Radius.

I think these pictures show pretty well that while the Ti Kabuki is not an absolutely perfect match to the satin silver of the ProVari 2.5 mini & standard Radius, it is actually a better match than a stainless steel Kabuki.... for the OCD individuals among us.

Thanks for the pics! Seems to match the SS finish very well. I may have to twist my own arm and grab one.
