That really sucks.

I have a few P3 Kabukis and they work great. I did have a glass break seconds after I unpacked my first Kabuki but I am lucky that I buy them from a local B&M that is always competitive and always takes care of me.

I would be p!$$ed too if one of my $100 tanks didn't perform perfectly.

Yep, kinda got bent out of shape when I tried to find replacement parts for the 510 plastic... Fortunately I had a slightly longer glass from a carto tank that at least uncovered the BVC feed holes, no thanks to Zen... But now out of service cause of the 510 insulator issues...

@ENAUD Ahem, read the above...the only *other* change to my Kabuki while I wasn't using my P3 was a really nice ECF member made me a 'plastic' tank (which I have been using ever since, without any hassles), I wonder if this could be the issue? (just grasping straws here)
If the coil is truly secure in the base, the length of the tank section will have absolutely nothing to with whether the coil reaches the P3 center pin or not.

I agree with your original guess, that your Radius probably has a tall pin, and your P3 pin sits a little lower. If you had a dial caliper it would be a very easy thing to check.

I don't think you can blame Zen at all...

Perhaps though, you could blame yourself for not contacting Zen to see if he could help you.

After eight emails to Electronicstix, do you have a better way? Honestly, I want the tanks to work. Is there a tech support email address that will actually resolve my issue? Please? It's quite confusing with the various web sites that Zen uses. Is it HOH or ZFO or electronicstix or some other secret site?

Just contact HOH here: Contact Us pay attention to the hours listed to call in for service, you will be back in business in a very short time.

Enaud has given the best answer.

Keep us posted on how it goes.

Thanks, Jim

Your Kabukis have a lifetime warrantee, if they are broken, I will promise you that Zen wants to fix them and make things right. Here is the link for a printable page with spaces for all of the information provided NON-ZNA Service I had need of service on a Kabuki and Zen fixed it and got it back in the mail to me on the same day that he received it. I'd say good luck, but you will not need luck. Just follow through with the repair and things will be AOK.

Sometimes, a less adversarial approach to tech support will yield greater results. HOH stands behind their products and will bend over backwards to make sure you are a satisfied customer no matter where you purchased their product. Electronicstix doesn't carry their line anymore so it's no surprise they didn't help you. (May be why HOH pulled their dealership status)

Did not know that, obviously.... just tried to get help and was not satisfied after much effort on my part... They still seem to carry HOH and imply they are authorized BTW... I'm just a consumer, not a fanboy that knows all the latest and greatest super secret HOH stuff (like the Ti Kabuki I saw on Busardo's channel) Thanks!

I've had to learn that, "less adversarial approach." You catch more flies with honey than you do :censored:. It wasn't always easy for me. Kind of like dealing with cops when you get pulled over...

Just to be clear, my correspondence with Electronicstix was not adversarial. They simply would not help me with my issue. And yes, I found it very frustrating along with the apparent design issues with the 510 Kabuki, BVC holes not uncovered by the chimney, crap threading, fragile glass, absolutely terrible 510 insulator, etc... thus my posts.

I am talking about the 510 version, not the P3 or Z2.

I suppose I am the only person with these issues... NOT!

If anyone for a minute thinks that, shame on you for not being honest, this was not a win for Mike...

BTW, Is there a fix for these issues or is this just a fanboy thread with no real help for us buyers of a $100 tank that we wanted for an all-day-vape? I've noticed that no one has posted with 510 experience, only P3.

You're definitely not the only one with issues & we get that trying to get it resolved has been a downhill slide. You've been provided with the method to get it fixed. Believe me, Duane (@ENAUD) gave you the best avenue to travel from here on out.
Calling people who really dont have to help you at all a bunch of fanboys is NOT called for.

This best fix is to call HOH and they will get you up and running. What more would you like us "fanboys" to do?

Fair enough... Got a little bent out of shape over this. Sincere apologies offered; really. :)

Just frustrated over the >$200 I spent on the 510 Kabukis, both of which are now out of service....

HOH will make it right. Just make the call. You will get real person when you call them. They truly are a 1st Class company. I know electronicstix gave you run-a-round but HOH does mess around when it comes service.

Keep in mind, I'm not playin the "fan-boi" game here. I was a die hard builder and it took the local B&M quite a few visits to get me to even try a Kabuki. But I am a technician and I really appreciate when things work well. I've been pretty much using nothing but Kabuki's for the past year and own 4 (2 -510 and 2 - Z2 threaded).

As to the wicking hole issue, that is part of the design. While it may look like the holes are blocked they really aren't. That design helps to maintain an equal vacuum from a full tank to an empty tank. It does however affect how higher VG juices wick. If you were having issues perhaps you were using too thick of a juice. I use mostly 70/30 (pg/vg) and 50/50 juices and I've never had any sorts of wicking issues.

Anytime I've had threading issues, it's been the coil not the atty. I used to get a few coils that wouldn't thread out of a pack but at that time I was buying them from my local B&M. Ever since I started getting coils from MFS I've not had any issues with stuck coils.

Glass... yeah well glass is glass, it breaks. With the 4 tanks I have over the past year I've had 1 break because I cocked it while taking it off the top cap for cleaning. Another cracked when my mod tipped over from my desk. And today I noticed my daily carry has developed a hair line crack but that's probably because it was in my jacked pocket when I flung it onto a desk during a service call this week. At least it was just a crack and I didn't end up with a pocket full of juice and nothing to vape the rest of the day ;)

sorry... ramblin... lol

Thanks! I was able to get good wicking with a taller glass section, and the damn thing was my favorite atty. The 510 insulator finally shut me down though when it split and fell out, on both of mine. Sad days....

Sorry about the fanboy comment... just thought someone should call it like it is...

I am not trying to be a jerk when I say you did not call it like it is. You're frustration quite honestly was with Estix & Estix only. Your rant reads as though @Zen~ put out a crappy product & made a :censored:load of money off it.

Believe me, I fully understand the need to rant but now that you've gotten it off your chest, I sincerely hope you contact Zen.
And who knows, once everything is working as it should we'll be looking at you as a fanboy! :sneaky:
