I absolutely love my SS tanks and never had an error message on a Provari or other mod. Weird. Kabuki or Nautilus, all great for me.

I have 2 Kabuki SS tanks and just ordered a GMZ tank for my GMZ Kabuki. I will be using them 90% of the time moving forward, but still like clear tanks from time to time. I ordered 3 poly tanks as I really don't trust the glass tanks.

We shall see....
I am going to keep fiddling with them, due to how the Kabukis are designed, the tendency for the glass to crack is higher. I really want the steel tanks to work!

After having a couple of nasty leaks from going to silicone rings and poly tanks, my thinking has changed. If one is going to use glass, then the silicone rings are great. For the buna rings, then the poly tanks work the best. The one exception being the Ti tanks with silicone and poly. That combo seems to work fine. This is based on trying different combinations with 12+ Kabukis.

Poly tanks have a slightly larger variance in inside diameter so may need a slightly thicker o-ring. It's one reason Zen doesn't like poly.

Where can I find smoked glass?!
I read a post on this thread a couple of months ago saying that the SMOK TFV4 Mini would fit the Kabuki. If your interested please check back on past posts in case I have got the info wrong.

I couldn't find any other smoked glass that was available and as a UK site had them I thought I would give them a try as they were not expensive.

They work fine, dark but with a slight almost midnight blue when the sun hits the Pyrex glass.

I put one on the GMZ this morning so you can see what they are like. Oh, sorry about the poor quality photos. Cheers. Sean

Good to know. I wonder if you would have better luck with harder silicone, say 75?

They're red silicone but you can get 50 of them for $2 and they are around the same hardness as the original buna ones the came with the Kabuki, maybe slightly harder.
DISCLAIMER: I may not know what I'm talking about!

Silicone O-rings Size 014 Price for 50 pcs

These are the same size - 014

Hmm - I recently ordered 3 sets of clear and 3 sets of black silicone o-rings from Zen's Gumption Depot and then (separate order), a couple of Matilda drip tips and some other stuff.

Package arrived today - all together in one package, AND one of the parts envelopes contained $6 along with a note saying here's a refund on one set of shipping charges.

I'm impressed by this and will be doing further business with them.

Both my Kabukis now have silicone o-rings and work much more smoothly for disassembly and reassembly - feels like the threat of glass breaking is much reduced.

That does look cool.

I just ordered the GMZ SS replacement tank to go with my GMZ Kabuki and GMZ 2.5. I think that combo will look great as well. :)

Where can I find smoked glass?!

Spectrum Tanks

I have it in purple, pink, green, red and black
...this is the purple spectrum replacement glass on my sangria 2.5 mini, although the original black orings work OK I think the new silicone omg rings are a lot better.

Glad, it was some help. Now a Ti tank for the Ti kabuki would be nice....... All the best.

I like the SS tanks a lot and thought one with the USMC EGA was pretty sharp but I'm not sure if I would be annoyed by not being able to see the juice level. I guess you just open the top and give it a visual check on occasion?

I just vape it until I can tell, by taste.

Thanks, Cold. I think I bought three sets of silicone rings for each tank. So I should be good for a long while.

That's how I do it. I leave the base screwed onto the mod, unscrew the top/tank and tank a look inside. Takes a few seconds.

@Zen~ :
Will the P3 -> 510 adapter work for other P3 tanks, or was it expressly designed for the P3 Kabuki?

I'm guessing it will work for other tanks, but I could understand if it was designed in such a way that it would only work with the Kabuki.

In light of Zen's busy schedule, if anyone else has experience with this, the knowledge would be much appreciated.
