I don't want to be here in 40 years. I'm not even sure another 20!

I figure I've got 4-8 years worth of disposable convenience coils on hand, depending on usage. In 8 years I may not even be interested in vaping anymore. Post deeming I made an effort to use
re-buildable atomizers more and more, so them coils will be stretched even further. Maybe someday I'll be looking at a huge pile of coils without any way to sell them off asking myself what in the aich-eeee-double hockey sticks did I hoard all these things for![]()
Is it just one Kabuki this is happening in? I had a particular Kabuki base that was weird. Like only a couple of coils would spin in it but not the other 8 Kabuki's and it wasn't every coil either. Try explaining that one to someone on the phone at HOH. The person, who will remain nameless, tried convincing me it was the coils. Well, I did and said what I had to, to convince them to send me another base. I had to send that one in first on my dime to get them to send me another one. I haven't had a problem since.my threads on the BVC coils are pooping out before the coil does
Seems they are just fine one day and then shot the next...they become spin city
I'm not 50 yet and most of my relatives (except my maternal Grandfather) lived to be in their 90's. I'm a ticking time bomb and don't expect to live that long but who knows? The Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise...I don't want to be here in 40 years. I'm not even sure another 20!

I gotta bunch too. I suppose I need to figure out a way to rotate them. The only problem is I have a few stash here and few stashed there. I'll have to work on a better way.

Sometimes I wish I could get the sheet stuff OUT of my head. Thank you, though - understood and appreciated.
I know (PT2). You sold her on the idea, and I'm liking it too. She and I are both looking forward to finding out. It will resurrect my beloved Cerotanks if it works as well as we expect, based on your recommendation.
Say, got any good spare glass?![]()
That was pretty funny![]()

How can that be!?!?!
Well if it's any consolation, Mike is pretty darn quick turning things around, when I sent my Kabuki in wayyyy back when,he fixed it and got it back in the mail to me on the same day!oops...to clarify...my only 510 Kabuki !
Sorry to see you
want to say THANK YOU for posting your 'thought', i had to switch to a disposable coil setup due to my eyes and chose the kabuki after researching what would be best for my vaping ways. Unfortunately, my tastebuds kept tasting an odd background flavor over whatever juice i used when using bvc coils & the triton (not as bad with the triton). my tastebuds can taste the cotton i guess and i was close to saying screw it, i will just quit vaping....than i saw your post! bought 2 cisco's and am soooo enjoying vaping with my kabuki's now. the day i got my first cisco order was the first time i could actually taste the actual flavors of my ejuices again since i got the kabuki's, so much so that i reordered 5 more coils on same day!A thought just occurred to me that I had forgotten about. A while ago I purchased a few of the Nautilus Cisco Spec HH coils. The coils have the smaller wicking hole and cost $10 each however they are reusable and I have read they can last up to a year or more with proper care.

OK. I've been struggling with this concept for days now. Help. For you guys suffering a burnt taste with nautilus coils:
Try unscrewing the top of the tank a few turns until you see an air bubble rise through your liquid - this releases the low pressure build up in the tank, which causes the coil to start to go drier - resulting in loss of flavour and leading to a dry hit
The nautilus coils all do this, some juices will taste it sooner than others, especially the cleaner citrus ones.
It is caused by excess packing of cotton to stop the coils from flooding. The cotton is there to wick the juice to the coil, but ALSO to act as slow leak valve, so the tank pressure can be re-established once the juice starts to get used up
All (or certainly most) tanks work on a pressure difference - when you vape you draw air through teh airflow holes up under the coil to your mouth. This faster moving air creates low pressure under the coil, so the higher tank pressure flows juice to the wick and coil - When you stop vaping the atmospheric pressure returns under the coil and the wick should allow a bubble or 2 to escape back INTO the tank - ready for the next vape
As the cotton gets carbonised this seal gets blocked, so low pressure (vacuum) remains inside the tank - and eventually stops the flow of juice to the coil.
Either just open the the tank to release the vacuum
OR
Do a couple of very strong dry pulls - cover the airflow and flutter your finger while sucking hard on your drip-tip - all without firing the mod.
This dry pull or primmer puff, gets very strong low pressure under the coil, so when stopping the difference is established and the tank auto releases the vacuum.
Most of you are probably throwing away perfectly good coils
I like the 1.8ohm Claptons and the Ni200 temp coils. I run the Claptons around 18-20 watts
Sucking and fluttering method, eh?
...turns around and leaves
