PS While Vape360 and I didn't discuss it, I do think ProVape's points system is goofy. I would order today three more P3's and another Stealth Kabuki, if it was in-stock, but I have to wait until 10-08 for all of my points to mature. I'm sorry. I just think that's silly. You gotta guy here wanting to spend a good hunka change on your gear. Give him the points now before he changes his mind!

The reason the points system has a mature time is to allow for any returns in the 30 days before the points are rewarded. Its a grace period that they have built into the system. :)

What we are seeing is the bottom of the aspire coil is bottoming out on the P3 center pin and not allowing the tank to go all the way down. The aspire coil has no travel so it's preventing the tank for screwing in all the way, leaving a small gap.
Again, thank you for taking the time to reply, I seriously appreciate it.

My girlfriend uses a K4 w/P3 connector and gets the paper gap.

Let me reiterate, I get the paper gap WITHOUT A COIL IN THE BASE! In other words, I screw the P3 Kabuki base WITHOUT A COIL IN IT and no tank for that matter (again, JUST THE BASE WITH NO COIL), and I still get the paper gap.

That's two different P3's in our possession that have the paper gap, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH COILS!

I hope we are not misunderstanding each other.

I know your time is valuable. I really appreciate you taking the time to come in here and reply.

EDIT: Neither of us has a problem with the appearance of the paper gap, only if it affects functionality.

6992 kilometers from home...
My theory is sanding down the base of the Kabuki will let it go down farther into the P3 for the ones with a gap, which would thus lower the tip of the atty and make a connection, rather than re-tapping the threading where the atty screws into...
I had a team of guys working on this at work today, including engineers and the gap has been eliminated. Problem attys tested and no more issues...

How much did the team remove from the base?

Well, there were 3 engineers and me in the room, so it took 4 hours- we were down all day due to a power failure in our phase 3 power line to the building, so I went home to get the Kabuki and problem attys. We ended up encasing the base in an acrylic pod so we could attach it to the diamond polisher and set it to rough polish for 1.5 minutes, measured and tested, then another 1.5 minutes with a soft polish pad. 0.004 came off at the end...
The engineers are all vapers.
I wanted to take pictures, but it is an ITAR facility, so no phones in the building...

That's a great idea...IF there is a gap. When My Kabuki base wasn't connecting it was screwed down tight with no gap, so this fix wouldn't have worked in my case.

You must have had a well issue...
The fix would have also cost over $1000 for the time of the people involved and materials used...

Give me a address and I'll send my 3 bases and a check for $3000! It'll be worth it to fire all my coils! After all, I paid $200 for the P3 and $290 for my 3 Kabuki's! With shipping, that's over $500, what's another $3000 for a device and tanks that actually work properly and I can quit :censored:ing around! Hell, it would be real bargain for Juma!

We've got the technique down. Should have written up work instructions...Funny thing most of those guys vape eGos; one a mech and dripper of some sort. Unlike my last job, we can smoke or vape outside the employee entrance...

Gee, are they interested in a ProVari & Kabuki? Since they can get them to work at work, should be a easier decision! We used to call our own jobs, "Government Work" or "Government Jobs."

These guys really aren't hobbyists, except for the dripper guy. They are working their way off of vaping. The ladies at work who vape all have them on lanyards. One has a really long eGo. Never seen one like that...

As a trophy around her neck, of course...
Steve, you're being rather slow and lethargic this evening...

Where does it rest as it hangs around her neck? Unbelievable I'm actually leading this horse to water...

I'm not getting much sleep working day shift these days...
she looks like she'd be more satisfied with a beefy ProVari, rather than a skinny eGo. She held that eGo with 2 fingers, rather than wrapping her hand around it...
