I consistently read two things related to the Subtanks. I haven't owned any yet, but it's been a constant consideration.

1. They're FREAKING AWESOME!
2. They leak a LOT.

Call me crazy but I'm having quite the difficult time reconciling the coexistence of those two characteristics.

And therein lies my dilemma.
My experience was:

1. The vape was terrible
2. It leaked A LOT

I'm sure item 1 is a "subjective" opinion but for me I just didn't like the vape at all. It was WAY too hot, WAY too airy, and the flavor just wasn't there at all. I tried the .5ohm OCC coil and threw it out after about half an hour. I tried the 1.2ohm coil and it wasn't much better. I tried the rba (with the supplied coil) and it just didn't do it for me. I set it aside and after not using it for a few days found the tank had drained itself onto my mod and in my mod holder.

I boxed it up and it's waiting to be PIF'd to anyone I find I don't care for anymore lol...

Thank you.

My instinct, based on all that I read (such as your comments) are pushing me away.

MUCH appreciated.

Leaked out the ventilation holes, right? I would leave it in my car for 10-15 minutes, and not only would it leak, but I would try to vape it and get next to nothing :(

The build quality and overall design of the Subtasks are poor. I have a full-size Subtank that when one removes the base it sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard. Then there are way too many seals, which are not tight enough and let in air that causes them to leak, at least in my opinion. The performance of the new vertical coils is good.

I found the vape with the original horizontal coils to be very harsh. I'd get to coughing after a couple of drags. Almost like smoking again. The vertical coils were nice, but the tanks leaked.

I totally agree. Mine is the first iteration of the Mini. Tank seals are it's weakest point. I even left it to sit upside down with juice in the tank for a while and there was a puddle when I picked it up again.

@bigbob2322 ; It's gonna be PIF'd locally if I ever get around to it, sorry...

A page-ish of Subtank non-love. Welp, I do appreciate all the feedback here, and it seems to me that this tank is not fer me.

    Thank you guys!

Add me as another subtank non believer. It's a jack of all trades and not great at any. It's particularly poor for mouth to lung. Mine doesn't leak though. It's ok for lung hits but spits a lot of juice and the coils are meh to me. Flavor is muted mostly without using the RBA which is the best part of the tank. The disposable coils are really hit or miss. I've bought entire packs that were falling apart inside.

I'm interested in another kabuki if you're selling. I'm a little lost as to whether that was the point. I don't think I know what pif is. Pass it forward? I did that with my nautilus tanks. A few ego and several rta. I'm going for another round too. But for this tank you can recover a fair bit and make someone else very happy by spending s few minutes at the post office.

Fwiw the 1.6 coils I bought vs the 1.8 that came with the kabuki are serving me better. Which could be because I overdid it with the first coil and didnt break it in well.

How much of a chance have you oven the kabuki? It took me a day solid of changing drip tips and air settings to find a perfect match. And I mean a day solid. Like five tanks of juice. And two Coils.

I just ordered one of those $10 coils I Can never remember the name Of from
Avid vape. I'm Trying to be optimistic!. I haven't ever really had great experiences with silica or rayon. Preferring cotton. By it is a very interesting proposition and should allow a few more watts too. So I'm hopeful. Either way it didn't take long for me to be sold on the kabuki. Best pure flavor tank that takes disposable coils imo. All tanks have compromises.

Back to black. Ahh this is the way Zen intended this tank to look.

Wow that mod is tiny. I had no idea it was hat small based on site pictures ?

My p3 arrives tomorrow. I'm a little concerned as I think about the smashed cap. I'm curious how that happens when you drop just he cap on the floor. Are the end caps super delicate?

What's the best drip tip for this tank. Taking opinions.

I'm currently using a kf4 and one of those weird bobbly genie type plastics. They seem to give the best flavor. I feel like all the flavor is lost with the stock tip. It's weird that every tip on hoh is totally opposite to what they included with the tank. I don't get it. :/

So which tip is the best. Hoh or otherwise. The hoh intrigue me by are quite expensive. I'm sure they're total quality. I just don't know if I can afford $30 for a drip tip personally(especially as I want to buy another kabuki and just bought the used provari). can anyone shoot a picture down the center of the hoh ones? How narrow is the bore? Toothpick size?

Thanks for the advice. It seems like airflow open with a restrictive tip brings the best flavor. Plus I really like the design of the HOH tips

I wouldn't consider the Radius tiny. It's about the size of two Provari 2.5 minis side by side.

Do you mean the battery end cap? It's stainless steel and not delicate at all but it could get dented or scratched if dropped onto something hard.

If you have a multi-meter, could you please read the coil resistance directly?
