I've had this issue with the 510 Kabuki and what I've found most successful is to tighten the coil in the base, refill the tank and when threading it back on the base just to tighten it finger tight. Haven't had any leaks and the coil stays in the base. If I tighten it just a bit too much, invariably the coil stays in the chimney when I refill. I also make sure the coil is tight in the base when I go to refill - there have been times that the coil became loose in the base when I remove the tank.
For some reason I can't get any of the current batch of my coils to screw into the chimney of my 510 Kabuki. The P3 threaded ones are fine though. I've tried all the suggested fixes without success. The tolerances on the 510 version must be tighter, mines an early one as well so maybe that makes a difference.

I would think that you could contact Zen~, especially if the same coils work in the P3 but don't work in the 510 version. I've been fortunate in that all of my coils (both old and new) have worked in both versions.

I have had the issue more frequently of late. But with only 1 of the 4 510 tanks I own. I originally thought it was an isolated blister pack of coils that were defective but since then had it happen a couple more times. On vacation though and don't have all my tanks and tools with me to do any real troubleshooting at the moment. My P3 has not had the issue to date however.

Now I am scratching my head, new problem with my black 510 Kabuki. When I switched to the metal tank section, and installed a new coil, every time I top it off the coil is stuck firmly in the chimney! It takes a pair of pliers to loosen it so I can get it out of there. WTH!?

Previously, with the original coil and glass / O-rings, the coil remained firmly in the base at every single fill. I'm going to have to take some measurments, I am guessing that the metal section may be a tad shorter than the glass...
Curious of your findings...

Actually misread this last night. My issues have not been related to the chimney but rather the base. I have had about 4 coils from different packs that will not thread into the base. It's like the threading is stripped. Since the majority thread and seat just fine the problem is the same. Poor quality control on the part of the coil manufacturer. Not figured out a fix for this quite yet. May be tough unless I can find a material to wrap the coil base threads in because it's almost like they are smaller in size.

another update in regards to the clone Kabuki P3 from 3Fvape, their customer support had contacted me stating there is no P3 thread EVER MADE, not sure why but their photo sure looked like a P3 thread, they were trying to offering me the 510 thread at a discounted price. I told them I was only interested in the P3. I believe they have changed their listing to 510 threads only now.

Good for Zen and the rest P3 kabuki owners that there isn't a copy out there yet! sux I couldn't do a real comparison for the fun....

anyways, my 9th Kabuki P3 stealth has arrived today.... I need more!!!!

My pleasure, sincerely. NLV has been the mainstay for me for 4 years now. I'm thrilled you're enjoying it, too.

So we've finally reached the cotton undies discussion, eh? Why am I picturing you vodka soaking all those tighty whities in Grey Goose. Oh mai. Laundry at newyork's place!!

What did you use in your before life? No coils whatsoever? Kartos, perhaps? ;)

I don't really know the longevity for other people, but my koils seem to last for a LONG time. I really need someone to help me make a PIVOT TABLE or something so I can even begin to figure out just how many new koils I employ in a month's time. I think it's actually fewer than few!

With your love of flava changing, why not dedicate a Kabook to each one? Or..... are there THAT many?
I mainly have been using RTAs and building my own coils, either with cotton or silica, depending on my mood. So, my questions really weren't about coils in general, but more about these disposable kinds which I haven't used much for a while, and how to clean them, if possible, between juice changes.
It's not that I have a ton of flavors which I rotate between. It's more that I'm still sampling. So, didn't want to taint a new untasted flavor with what was in the tank/coil before. Wouldn't be much of a sample would it?
Regarding laundries at my place. Ok, but it's gonna have to be BYOB. Got a feeling I couldn't afford to keep you all happy otherwise.:D

Vodka is good for many things. ;)
I use my Kabuki for my ADV and all Sophias for everything else as I can change out the cotton whenever I change flavors in my Sophias.
And, that's exactly what I've been doing since I've gotten my Kabukis. Just thinking I might be able to do something similar with the Kabukis.

Welp, the ole coil stuck in the chimney thing, eh? DPL would give you brownie points as you can get a tad more vliquid in the tank, but not everyone agrees with that.

Curious about the metal tank, Mr. E. Do let us know?

What. You just now noticed? ;)

Weeeeeeeeelp, disposable coils weren't originally meant to be cleaned and reused. (hence the designation) Without a good way to dry burn them, I really don't think there's a way to get them squeaky clean. The wodka helps, but only a dry burn will do the trick.

Might I suggest a standard (old skool) atomizer for taste testing? They are super inexpen$ive these days, and work like a charm.

Laundry BYOB? Bring my own boxers??

The Radius makes every jingle it's own.

Hmm. Think I'm going nip this one in the bud before I start saying the Radius is the Chuck Norris of vaping devices and watch it go down hill from there. [emoji63][emoji963][emoji457][emoji380][emoji1015][emoji1016][emoji308][emoji615]️
