@AstroTurf and @Katdarling , measured the glass and steel sections.
glass: 1.005"
steel: .9995"

still running the steel, and the coil has been staying in the base the last few fills. The last time it stuck in the chimney, I made sure to really tighten it down into the base.

Welp, the ole coil stuck in the chimney thing, eh? DPL would give you brownie points as you can get a tad more vliquid in the tank, but not everyone agrees with that.

Curious about the metal tank, Mr. E. Do let us know?

What. You just now noticed? ;)

Weeeeeeeeelp, disposable coils weren't originally meant to be cleaned and reused. (hence the designation) Without a good way to dry burn them, I really don't think there's a way to get them squeaky clean. The wodka helps, but only a dry burn will do the trick.

Might I suggest a standard (old skool) atomizer for taste testing? They are super inexpen$ive these days, and work like a charm.

Laundry BYOB? Bring my own boxers??
Ok, I give up on reusing/cleaning the coils. I'll stick with the Sophias for sampling/testing new flavors.

You wear boxers? I'm not judgemental. Bring them.

And, on a serious note. I'm enjoying these Kabukis more by the day. It seems as if the flavor just keeps improving.

What you wrote:

What I saw:

glass: 1"
steel: 1"

I'm such a math wiz.

Thank you tho, E.

Hey :)

Can anyone give me a link to an instruction manual of sorts for the Kabuki ?????

Is there one ?

Ive bought three kabuki 510's and one kabuki P3 in the past month , at a cost of 130 $$ each , and have never had so much as the most basic user guide :(

I usually have nothing but very positive things to say about the Kabuki and regularly praise it all over the place BUT I DO have few negatives that IMO shouldnt exist for that sort of price.

Theres been stickers("before opening instructions" on the tops of my kabuki's but every single sticker blanks out the internet address (letters missing) ...or is that only a link to Zen's very short (but very useful since before that it was impossible to even unscrew the tank to fill it upon unboxing) you tube unboxing video/tips ?

If any of you guys have anything id sure appreciate it :)

I don't switch flavors until the coil is done. When I switch I do it in an RTA where I can rinse and rewick. The Kabuki's get a favorite juice and it stays for the life of the coil. Then I can switch. I've had some pretty funky results with changing horses in midstream. Just buy more Kabuki's

Hm....;) THAT'S definitely the best solution and though expensive, the one Ive opted for.

Ive been slowly replacing my 5 set ups in the last month, my fourth Kabuki just arrived today ;) ....

...and my husband agrees to just take it out of the savings acct.... TG... says it comes to the same price in the end!

so I basically have all my different flavors ...;

When I change flavors for a new juice I try to pick one of the most similar flavors (never touch the one containing my main all day though...) or just outright just put in a new coil (8$ for a 5-pack at FT= that's under 2$ a coil!!!) + wipe down/rinse/ultra-sound the SS tank depending on how "lingering" the previous juice is.

I live in western Europe -Paris- and the only place that seems to sell them In Europe is Creme de Vape UK (a great store btw...).The exchange rate for the "£" is very bad right now and theres also about 18$ shipping to pay... thats' what that shop charges... all together it comes to pretty much 120-odd everytime I order .

This situation is quite unususal since we're very well equipped vape-wise, as a matter of fact Ive always been able to pretty much find everything locally. Not so for the Kabuki though....

There's no manual/guide. The URL on the top of the jars is to Zen's unboxing video. Mine was smeared and hard to read too.

thanks Susan :) ...

Hm...yeah I figured that was probably Zen's video..which is very good btw and definitely a must-see when first unboxing...

And it's true that's there's maybe not that much to explain as it's pretty simple-basic,but still I would have liked a few more tips... ;)

I don't really know the longevity for other people, but my koils seem to last for a LONG time. I really need someone to help me make a PIVOT TABLE or something so I can even begin to figure out just how many new koils I employ in a month's time. I think it's actually fewer than few!

Aspire rates them at Two Weeks or 500ml of juice whichever comes first.

Now, 500ml of juice over Two Weeks? That's a whole lotta juice.

I'm at somewhere around 30ml per Week right now, maybe a bit more, iow, nowhere near 500ml of juice over Two Weeks.

I've been trying to push the coil longevity out past a Week, which is when I usually change out atm. They can definitely go longer.

Who does 500ml of juice in Two Weeks btw?

For some reason I can't get any of the current batch of my coils to screw into the chimney of my 510 Kabuki. The P3 threaded ones are fine though. I've tried all the suggested fixes without success. The tolerances on the 510 version must be tighter, mines an early one as well so maybe that makes a difference.

Did you adjust the 510 out before screwing the coils into the base?

I have kept track of how many ml have sauntered thru my coils. I haven't even come anywhere close to 500ml tho. Hellsbells, I haven't even dreamt that high. That sounds rather incredible and unrealistic to me. Perhaps I'm taste fussy, but I've run anywhere from 4 to 19 fills. And that's with fairly high PG liquids.
