I have several Kabukis and two or three times that many drip tips. My favorite is Zen's Mini Tower in black delrin. It fits very tight on the Kabuki, and I like that. Second best is his Althea. In fact I use that one on the nautilus P3 tanks. The Althea doesn't fit quit as snug on the nautilus as it does on the Kabuki, but it works good enough. My quandary has been what to use on my out-and-about Kabukis. The Althea and the Mini Tower are tall when put in a pocket, and the stock Gertrude, while looking great, is a bit short and the airflow is a little too open for me. The Matilda would be perfect, but it's metal and I'm not a huge fan of metal drip tips, especially for outside.

I think I stumbled across the perfect replacement for the Gertrude. It's the 510 Black Delrin Drip Tip Type A from RTD Vapor for $3.59. Mounted in the Kabuki it only adds about 1/8" height above the Gertrude but that's enough, and gives about the same airflow as the Althea and Mini Tower, while adding a slight lip like the Althea. Here's a shot of it from RTD's web page. I think it's nice looking enough that it could have come from Zen's Magic Workshop.

That one isn't bad at all! Was looking at the mini ionizers and towers, Unfortunately I can't get any of zen's tips shipped here. Would love Matilda in black delrin though, that would be one sexy tip.

Thanks so much for the tip & link :) !

Quite similar to the Provape ones ie. same idea of big wooden blocks...I guess the wood is necessary to make it heavy & sturdy enough.

So does this really make your vape stuff cat-proof ?

=If you cat rubs up against the P3 or the tank is the stand heavy enough to hold the cig in place/so it doesnt get knocked over?

I saw that Pink Mule has the 2 Provape blocks with two round holes for 2 P3's .
Probably better quality wood and heavier ?? It's 38 euro (+ shipping I suppose)at Pink Mule

But it would be nice to have something for the Radius too ...I havent had the opportunity to use mine yet- it's a Xmas prez so its still in the back of our closet ;) ...But not long now !!!! ;)

Itll be going into my rotation pretty soon.... :)

No probs with the cat today though, they delivered our new HUGE Fridge-freezer this morning -purchased mainly to have room to store my vape-apocalypse gear ;) and the cat is terrified of it ...she's been hiding under the bed all day, just sneaking out for meals...I dont know why she's so scared of it,it barely makes any noise at all, much less than our old one!

Cllmda,
my cat hasn't knocked it over or off the table yet (!). It's right in her usual travel path across the room from cat tree to foot stool to table to me. She sometimes stops and checks it out but then moves on. Mine is typically stocked with a combination of 3 ProVari's, a Radius and 2 battery cases so it has some weight (although 1 ProVari is usually in hand). It fits my needs very well - sorting out the mess on my table and stopped the ProVari's from getting knocked over when the cat came through. Plus it has a nice small footprint. I like that.

LOL. I have a scaredy kitty too. When the doorbell rings and people come in the house she disappears. It takes awhile for her to come out afterwards.

Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks so much for that complete answer! :)

Sounds really good,I think Ill go for it and give it a try ;) .Having someplace to keep my gear neatly together is an appealing aspect too

Hmm..yeah mine hides from guests too and, like yours, waits awhile before coming out afterwards ...but oddly she's so curious too ...when the mailman comes & rings the doorbell (that happens almost every day at my house,I order a lot of stuff online and then of course there's the vapemail ;) )

Anyway ...mine literally jumps up & tears across the house as soon as the doorbell rings to get there before me! she pushes through my legs to stand on the threshold in front of me and stands there the whole time between me and the mailman while Im signing for the packages.....

= cats are so strange & contradictory..???

LOL ..I wont be the first to discover THAT ;) !

Anyone know if it's at all possible to order a replacement base for the Kabuki? I have the 510 version and would like to convert it to P3 without having to buy a whole new tank.
Not possible...I asked Zen about this quite a while back and he explained to me that because the base has the most machining steps involved, the cost would make this offering prohibitive.

WEll, a few aren't going to like this, but I did it. It has paid off in the past. I ordered one of the clones talked about awhile back on this thread.

Why? Fair question. I'm not crazy about clones, but they have a use for me. My wife and I are both disabled, and have to watch the wallet.
I ordered one to see if the Kabuki truly interested me rather than spend the money on a Gen. for test purposes.

I have done this for years, and has saved my .... many times.
I in no doubt Zen's quality of product in any way. It was rather whether or not, after using the Aromamizer, and Bellus, could I , would I, be satisfied with a prebuilt coil and it's tighter draw. ( I put the Gen. Aspires in it).

Well, the verdict is in, after only two hours with the Knock-off.
Yes! Yes I can!!! Sooooo, Next purchase will be the Gen Zen Kabuki in P3 Threading for my Radius. Worth the money to find out before pulling the trigger for me.

Up side is that if the Clone is as good as it is, the Gen is gonna be FANTASTIC!!!

At the end of the day if it keeps you from buying another pack, as far as I'm concerned it's open season. [emoji106]

Please, PLEASE do not get the impression I am judging. Everyman has to do his own thing in his own time. I just want to point out or remind you, if you are getting Social Security Disability, it's not being paid for by a Chinese worker...

Just so you know, I'm on Disability...

Happy New Year!
