For me, the biggest draw for the Kabuki is it's size (or lack there of). Adding an adapter just to get a 510 would make it way too tall IMO. Guess I'll just have to get a Provari eventually <sigh>[/QUOTE]
I myself am saddened by the news that there will be no more 510 versions. Ever since getting my ipv D2 it has been my daily carry with a Kabuki. I used to be happy with just the tank on an 18350 mechanical but grew to love running it regulated at 11 watts :). I was going to get another 510 Kabuki so I could rotate juices but unless our one B&M that carries HOH stuff has one I guess I'll be SOL...

The first place for you to look of coarse is the factory store. You may even get some flooded ones for cheap.

The next place would be a chain called Southpaw Vape Co. I think they start in Syracuse and are all over after that. I don't buy juice but gather for those that do SP juice is very good. For gear they pretty much suck. But they do sell Kabuki's in 510 flavor. The listed price is 89 bucks but they have been on clearance for months. I actually got a Kabuki with a Zen 18350 mod for 70 bucks. Last time I was at one, which was at least a Month ago, they had just the Kabuki for 70 bucks.

While in Syracuse last I knew, which was a week or so ago, you can get Provari P3's on clearance for 100 bucks.

Did anyone see the HOH post on fb yesterday? I admit, I'm new to this little section of the world, but what does that all mean?

We think you get the point... ZFO = Chris Johnson

WOW...that's some pretty big news.

What a wonderful post! I especially liked how they seem like they are going in a direction of catering to the "normal" crowd and quitting smoking crowd. Not the CLOUDS BRO crowd!

Aka - they are going to focus on my style. :) Sounds like I have a new favorite company!

Curious to see what svoemesto is coming out with. If it's going to be more my style or more the "I need more air" style. My point is that HOH is doing what "I like" and we'll see if anyone else is. :D

Call me a Luddite, but I refuse to do Facebook. Could someone post a synopsis of what was said?

I'm seeing a lot of concern pop up on this thread, but I don't think it's entirely warranted.

First, I have seen no credible statement that the Nautilus coils are being discontinued.

Second, I think a lot of people are making an assumption about the revised Kabuki which may be unwarranted. It seems they are visualizing the current model with a large and clunky adapter attached. I don't think Zen ever does large and clunky.

What if the redesign involves a new base for the tank? If it were on the order of the Provari P3 system in which a simple insert provides the ability to move from P3 to 510?

Hey, maybe I"m just in a good mood because my Radius hit the door a few minutes ago. So I'm far from panic and boycotts at this point.

I don't think nautilus coils are going away..but they may be pushing towards the Triton Mini coils. It's a bummer the triton coils don't fit the kabuki, but work flawlessly on my nautilus mini. The flavor of the Clapton is probably better than the kabuki + nautilus coil.

I wouldn't be opposed to some modifications so the kabuki can use the triton mini coils, but I recently bought my kabuki so I doubt I'll dish out money now.

Btw the triton mini is effectively the new nautilus mini. And it's my opinion that these coils rock, despite some posts itt

CopyPasta of the FB Post:
So here we go with some updates on what is happening at the ZFO and House of Hybrids, in the aftermath of the flood.

What a pain in the nutz... Yes, we have great insurance... Yes, things are looking great for a solid recovery from the damage... but... The parade of experts that are sorting through the damage has been really time consuming, and while there is progress, it's slower than we had hoped it would be. That being said, we suppose that's a good thing, that the insurance company is actually HELPING us find things that need attention that we had not even considered. Gotta love the experts.

When this happened, we figured the ZFO would be closed for a few days. Well, as many of you know, it's still closed. Cleanup was only the beginning, this has basically turned into a bit of a remodel, retool, re-whatever-the-hell-ya-wanna-call-it.... it's happening!

And speaking of happening...

On Friday the ZFO will FINALLY reopen... and anybody that stops by will immediately notice some pretty major changes.

The first and most noticeable change will be that we have reconfigured the space. The vapor lounge and television area with the fireplaces.... well... it's gone. But you can still have a fireside chat, because there's a cozy seating area by the mod-museum with one of the fireplaces... And the big cozy sofa where Jason S. Smith would nap the day away has been moved a little into a more inviting position. The television is now in the employee break room, which was formerly the Battery Rattle Cafe.

But that's not all.... When the ZFO reopens, it will be under new management...

Let's make this official... we'd like to formerly announce that Chris Johnson will be taking over as the proprietor of the ZFO. Chris has some really great plans and we're all really excited to watch this grow. He will be bringing in juice lines that are singularly focused on the "quit smoking" market, so he'll be well stocked in higher nic, lower VG juices... kinda retro, and VERY good thinking!

Chris also plans to take the ZFO on the road to some of the more intimate vape shows that are not convention style. You can get with him to figure out which ones he'll be vending at.

And soon... the ZFO will have an online store... Also run by Chris.

So... some of you will have some questions, and we're going to try to answer a few of them.

Q) Will the ZFO be open on weekends?
A) Ask Chris Johnson

Q) Will the ZFO have hundreds of Juice Offerings?
A) Ask Chris Johnson

Q) Will Jason still be sleeping on the Sofa?
A) Perhaps in spirit, sure.

Q) Can I come in the ZFO if I am vaping a .001 buddy Jesus quadra clapton on a dead Kenedy RDA with a 27 S LiPo box vaping at 2919.7 watts?
A) Chris Johnson will rip off your arm and beat you to death with the bloody severed appendage.

We think you get the point... ZFO = Chris Johnson

We should mention Darrelle Anne Delgado will be quite present as well, and Joshua Bodley seems to be hanging around like he works there or something, but to confirm any of that, yeah... Ask Chris Johnson.

Now, we also need to take a moment and say a thing or two to give my heartfelt thanks to Andrea Winchell, who has been working the counter at the ZFO since May of 2015... she has done an outstanding job of taking care of the customers and none of this change is a reflection of the great work she did. When we needed her most, she rose to the occasion, changed her entire schedule to be accommodating to the hours of the ZFO and really, We can't thank her enough for the great job that she did. She will remain at HoH, back on the assembly crew, where she ALSO does a fantastic job.

Like we said, we're excited... The ZFO is not quite "fully" remodeled yet, there is a lot more happening in the weeks to come, but if you're in the area on Friday, do stop by the shop, get to meet Chris and Darrelle, and get ready for what appears to be a pretty exciting future!

Welcome to the Jungle, Chris!

I refuse to do facebook too. You're not alone! With Nautilus tanks so popular, I can't see Aspire quitting production soon. They still have Nautilus tanks on their website. If they still sell the tanks I would assume they will still produce coils. It still doesn't hurt to get a few boxes ahead. One of the reasons I bought my Kabuki's was the simplicity. Adding an adaptor doesn't make it any more simple. More parts, more chance of problems. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm glad I got a 510 last July.

I lacked reading 10 pages getting caught up in the thread... I guess with 'big news' I'll go back and read some more.

As for the 'Buki change (I may find the answer in the previous 10 pages) .... My guess is BEAD BLASTED or BRUSHED finish that will match the Radius better. I had already mentioned that w.a.y. back when and the more I think about it, the more I like it.

I usually buy my coils from World of Vape. They have super customer service and good prices. I haven't ordered from MFS since my card info got swiped from their site and I didn't notice it in time to get a refund on my card, so the last batch of 20 coils ended up costing me almost $1000. It makes me think twice before entering my info and pressing 'enter'.

Several months ago, I mentioned to IkenVape that they might do well to contact Zen about specs for IKV Nauti coils. There coils are so good, that I was hoping that might be a win-win for everyone. I would sure like to see Isaac and IKV back in the game.

@zen , I'm so sorry to hear about the flood. Perhaps, it will give you the opportunity to head in whatever direction you are led. Many blessings.

Edit:
I read enough to find out about the Titanium 'Buki . For the past 2 yrs I have only used Promotey tanks because they were titanium and vaped well. When I was checking on getting a Kabuki, I even had electronicstix check with @zen on the height and weight of the kabuki. Weight means the world to me since both MS and arthritis have drastically affected my hands and grip. This will be a major blessing for me. I would send @zen my $$ today, if I could pre-order. I am excited, stoked and a happy camper over this news. I don't care whT connector it comes with - I figure my ProVape & HOH products will outlast everything else I own anyway. And, with the adapter, anything is a 'go'.

My thoughts on the adapter, for those worried about its size:
I have a feeling it will be within millimeters of the length/height of the 510, and that the base can be split in two, to reveal a P3 connection.
Once the adapter is threaded back on, it will appear to be a 510 device, with a seamless connection.
That's what I'm envisioning...so I honestly think people need to stop worrying about it adding height.
I also think Zen may make this adapter available separately, so that the P3 only crowd can still attach their P3 Kabuki to any old mod they choose.
How's that for a sweet deal?

i have two kabuki 510 clones from fast tech
they are as good as the hoh kabuki if not better
$19 ea.

From this statement, should it be assumed you own an authentic to compare to? I'm glad you like them. But I'm one of those who simply will never buy a clone. Never.

$100 P3s ... where?

Sent via iPhone

I already showed you how to get them. I don't know if you or someone else here got them. But if that person stopped in Syracuse and they are still there they can certainly grab one (or more).

The Kabuki's are at a different vape shop. 90 is the regular price but they are the oddest store. I very rarely go to that shop but do sometimes as my son love one of there house juices. They recently opend a branch in a city closer to me and I've been once. They had a Kabuki for 72 bucks without the mod at that shop.

I'm not connected to any vape shop so when I post a deal its either be local (like the guy in Rochester) or call them and make your best deal.

Just called. Same place I posted before and they still have the same number at the same 100 price.

That shop is on the west side of Syracuse so for that guy in Rochester prolly under an hours drive to be holding a brand spanking new P3 with all the updates installed.
