Only question I have is did you test the airflow while it is attached to the mod?

Ok thanks.. I am not getting a ton of flavor either so maybe the coil it shipped with is bad and clogging up the air flow. I'll pop another coil in there and test..
OK, since it's the weekend and my geekdom manifested itself in a focus on numbers, I just performed an essentially useless task.
Just for kicks I took all the extensions off my P3 Ti and threw on the Kabuki Ti. This thing is very cool! Other than not liking dual battery mods very much due to their size, I've never been particularly sensitive to a mod's weight. Regardless, I really like this flyweight setup.
So I checked some mods on my kitchen scale. The juice levels were roughly half full but I didn't try to standardize them at all.
P3 Ti, 350 battery with Kabuki Ti: 4.4 oz
2.5 GMZ, 490 battery with stainless Kabuki: 7.5 oz
P3, 18650, std Kabuki: 8.6 oz
Radius, std Kabuki: 9.3 oz
SX Mini ML class, std Kabuki: 11.4 oz
Istick 20w, Nautilus Mini: 4.7 oz

New coil behaves the same.. Maybe I just need to get used to the tighter (compared to what I am use to that is) air draw on the Kabuki..
Would long time users of it say that when the adjustment screw is fully open that it should produce a very airy draw or not?
Edit: Problem solved. I took it apart and cleaned it again. This time I removed the air screw and ran some kanthal wire in and out of both holes. It appears there was a very small piece of metal shaving left over from manufacturing.. Once it was out, the unit vapes better. Not a super airy draw but good enough!
So now, back to the regularly scheduled programming..

As I said -- comforting, especially if it's true.
A bit of research tends to support the statement as the earliest coil I could find that they have made is certainly still available, as are all the containers for it. (the aspire bdc)
Does anyone know of any earlier clearo coils by Aspire?
Aspire is installing a Nautilus BVC in the mod that is being released soon, Plato. I'd say they understand they have an audience for this coil. They are also including in the kit a separate "Subohm atomizer cartridge with a 0.4 ohm kanthal Clapton coil".

Thanks for that. I have vaping nirvana in my Kabuki's, so it's nice to know I'll always be able to find coils for them (though I currently have about 20+ boxes stockpiled).

The Kabuki in USA made but uses China made coils? Is there any other option with the Kabuki? I've been studying up on it and trying to sift through this thread. Wish there were vids that would explain the coil more.
The nauti coils are tried and true, and one of the easiest coils to find...and we now know that as long as aspire stays in business, they will continue to make coils that will work.
Is there even a coil made in the USA? I do not think there is so the Kabuki had no choice but to use a Chinese coil...
Only USA coils made I know of are the one's you build yourself ----(RBA, RDA)
USA Avid vapor makes a coil they put in a Nauti Casing, casing China made, so that could be considered an exception. I'm assuming they still do the transformation themselves, as they had done for years with an earlier very successful atty they sold, the HH57.
The one Coil seller/ manufacturer that says they are USA disclose with careful reading that they are USA designed (and are manufactured in China). I didn't care for their nauti version.

I would hasten to add, these are probably not what you want on a Radius, or other heavier mod, but on a Ti P3, with an 18350, or Ti mini?

I had to weigh it on a Ti Mini.
4.2oz.. with battery and juice and glass tank.
It comes with a poly tank which would be even lighter I think.
It also comes with a steel 510 adaptor I will most likely never use, but nice to have the option.

That sounds absolutely fantastic jwbnyc! I hope they keep the TiBuki's as a regular stock option down the road. I am out of the loop right now but would really dig one at some point, weight is very important to me some days. I think I'd love the Ti Kabuki.
