CG,

I have watched from afar...

I used to feel just as you do when it came to being able to seeing what was going on with my vape.

Volts, Watts, Ohms and the like.

Now, with my Radius, I just taste it and adjust it blindly. I don't even want to know where the power is set. I just adjust to taste and vape. The Radius allows that.

I would recommend that you give the Radius a try based on that alone. (After dialing in to taste with the Radius, it sets the standards/power level for my other ProVari devices.

Jim
Gee, you kind of sound like Zen! Lol Anyway, Jackie will have one for me to check out... :thumb:

I am on the fence with the Radius. Still waiting on the skinny for the ZNA-PRO. I only have the Gem RTA, Stumpy RDA, and Nautilus that are 510 threaded. Everything else I have is Z2 thread.....
Looks like Zen better get that ZNA-PRO out... SOON!

I'm still not quite sure what to make of this. I read the thrice-blasted Deeming Regs, all 499 pages of them. I did not find any specifics if say, for example, Aspire wanted to continue marketing their coils here. Would they just have to meet the FDA guide lines or because they would be importing them it would fall under a different set of regulations. Why can't they write those things in human speak...:grr:

I can't figure that one out either.

All I DO know is that if Zen could come up with his own RBA that would work in a Kabuki, he would have most of our attention and sell a crap-ton of them.

Agreed. He has stated many times the design philosophy behind the Kabuki, and I was on-board 100%, but I wonder if he took into consideration the all out assault on the vaping community by our very own gummint when he formulated it...

Why do you think he started making watches...?

Hopefully Mike or someone else will figure out how to make a killer Nautilus or Triton Mini RBA that works well. Soon would be good.:D

I love my Kabukis, but the thought of scrambling to buy hundreds of Aspire coils to stockpile doesn't excite me. I have 5 Crown RBAs and 5 Kanger ones so I am set there, but I have well over $500 into Kabukis with accessories and want to use them for many years....

OK, so a question delving into the tremendous shared knowledge here.

I had tried building my own coils a while back but didn't have the patience and maybe not the dexterity for it to be anything I wanted to continue. But after Black Thursday I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row for the years ahead.

Considering that I am expecting the same great flavor and tight draw that I get from a Kabuki, which RTA would be the best for me? I've seen lots of recommendations for Svoemestro and GG, but I have no idea if they are something a beginner could have any luck with. I absolutely will not fuss with coils and cotton for 15-20 minutes unless there is no other option.

So what say you all? I have to have great flavor, a nice tight draw, a warm (not hot) vape, and on top of that something that you don't need months of experience to get right. Am I asking the impossible?

I don't want to take any business away from Mike, but this thread contains a whole bunch of people who seem to have the same vaping style as I do. Mods, please remove this message if it is offensive in any way.
The squape is the easiest rta to build on! The coil literally sits in a channel. I liked the kayfun, but the squape beats it hands down for simplicity. And the flavor is as good, or better.

I've got about a hundred Nautilus coils and the same with the Aspire BVC's, I figure when I run through them the Kabukis and other atties will have paid for themselves, so I'll leave the stockpiling to other folks.

Meanwhile, I just ordered ten IGO-L dripping atties for a dollar a piece. Still one of my favorite re-buildable dripping atties and I have one in daily use. Going into survival mode...

Thanks for the heads up on the IGO-L. I picked up a dozen. I think I'm close to ready now, except for more nic from VapersTek when they restock their throat hit nic, and maybe a few more coils if and when available. I went to buy another ten boxes this morning from my favorite vendor and they are sold out. The hoarding has definitely begun. :(

Thanks E,
One is going on my DIY tester, and 5 in my backup box.....
I'm going to need a bigger box.

The airhole on them is pretty easy to enlarge, I don't go too big on it, just something like 1/16"th or so.
