4 hrs in. as expected no throat hit on the juice, so far nothing. not anxious, actually no stress so far. pretty bored. the PV seems to be feeding the hand to mouth addiction as usual. give another update in 4 hrs.
14 hours in from 16MG to 0 MG. so far no asteroids have struck the earth. no voices in my head, and at least a 25% chance, that the sun will come up today. have filled a tank, and going to find the most annoying person i can find, when i get to work. will check back this afternoon. :2cool:

See this doesn't make sense to me, why can't they just go back to higher nic levels instead of smoking again? If it's an issue of shipping time then at least hide a nic bottle or give it to a friend to keep in case of anything. :glare:
that is why you keep the gear in your drawer for emergency's. so you never fall back into the trap of tobacco slavery.:vapor:

I personally have zero intentions of ever going to zero. Nicotine is not a bad thing really and in some respects is good for you. I've been vaping 2 months and I've been at 18 the whole time. I love to chain vape though and I'm finding that 18 can be a little high both on a nic level and for the throat hit. At first I cared about throat hit but now I just want lots of vapour. My next order of juices coming in the mail are all 100% VG or 30PG/70VG and 18mg. I think after that 200ml that ill move to 12, not because I want less nic , just less throat hit.

Good stuff. I am taking a interest in other people's journeys in lowering their nic levels. I see myself vaping for a long time to come. I simply wish to lower my nic intake. Evident by you and others, it's very doable.
totally convinced the real problem was always with the tobacco addiction. once you remove the combustibles from the equation, it's not that hard to manage the other two. 1st day with no nicotine went smooth as a whistle. not even a little stressed. i read of other people and their angst when it comes to nicotine deprivation. most of the sites i went to on the subject of nicotine withdrawal described the same symptoms that i suffered when i was detoxing from tobacco, and smoking. they have never really covered nicotine withdrawal with the use of e-cigs. most of the sites don't even mention the use of e-cigs. so we are basically going by the crap that was drummed into us since childhood, that nicotine is a terrible drug, worse than all the others- yada, yada, yada. so we would keep coming back, and filling the coffers @ big tobacco. at least in my case, with 40 + days already invested in this orgy., i can't imagine it being any worse than the first month cig free. i am not feeling the angst a lot of people mention on here. just going to keep going using the same tools, and methods that i used to stop the cigs.

I went from 2 pad to 14mg. I did work my way down to zero and I did that a few weeks until I started working again and I have settled in at 2mg. It keeps me calm and for the really bad days I have 6 and 8 mg. I have not needed it yet.
Niagara Falls:mad: Slowly i turned step by step., inch by inch. sorry. Couldn't resist. glad you were able to reduce your dosage. :toast:

When the Dr. told me that I had to go to 0mg, I kept a cart. of 18 mg available. If I felt myself going into a wild mood swing, I would get a couple throat hits from the emergency supply of nic, and soon it was no problem feeling comfortable at 0mg.

I cannot vape 0 nic. I still need nic to support my body.

then u shud try on 9mg from liqua or 5mg from vermillion river...try to find an eliquid that has below 10mg nic... btw, theres no abc or xyz method to tell u how to reduce to zero..... its ur body n u shud know how to adjust it, also ur determination, effort n mentality play a significant role too... i used to smoke 2 packs of ciggy a day n im currently on 5mg n sometimes zero..... but i will vape non stop if im on 0 nic...

i have been vaping on 0% for a long time now. and i can safely say i am off it ...started smoking when i was 15 . now i am 52.. (yup i went through the withdrawals and its accompanying fun stuff.. almost to the point of divorce hahahahah). i am from a country where everybody smokes .. everywhere... One thing i notice after losing my addiction to nic is. i am acutely sensitive to nicotine smell..thank God i am completely off it.. the desire to just bum off a ciggie from a colleague is now long gone.. (the last pangs of addiction is that you become a ciggie bummer.. )

i love vaping .. especially exploring the different flavors.. i dont vape in the house or when i am around kids or anywhere inapproriate .. so i love that power of choice (to or not to vape) . which i dont have as a smoker.

Try to forget all about it, remind yourself that you can always have a bit of nicotine should things get too rough but you're no longer a slave to the substance plants produce to fight off pests. That's what nicotine really is, just a poison meant to keep insects away.
