Well after 15 months and 3 Provari's I seem to have my first issue. One of my Provari's has started reading the battery voltage incorrectly. Off the charger it reads 3.9v instead of 4.2v and after about two hours it starts blinking, telling me the battery is low. It shows 3.4 volts when the battery is actually at 3.8-3.9 volts. Odd. I guess I'll be sending it in for a tuneup unless someone out there knows why this has started happening and has a "fix" for it.

Clean the threads and apply a tiny amount of Noalox. Using a long Q-Tip, clean the battery contact inside the unit thoroughly.

This is a common issue and is remedied easily. :)
Seems to have worked, thanks! I cleaned and Noaloxed the contact points and threads and put a freshly charged battery in. 4.2 volts! Hopefully this has solved my problem.

No problem. Glad it worked out. It's great that the single most-reported issue I've read about with the Provari has a very simple, DIY remedy.

:)

This is an expensive freaking habbit.

So was smoking...in more ways than one.

Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
Cheese Grommit....

Q1: Why?
A1: Because

I'm waiting on my first to be delivered (in transit as we speak) and already looking at another. Best quote/sig I've seen on ECF was something to the affect, "The only way to get rid of a bad habit is to replace it with a better habit" :toast:
