anyone else get weird flavor from aspire nautilus mini?

I seem to have found this trend with the BVC coils in the aspire nautilus mini. It seems to me that every time i put in a new coil(1.8 ohm and 1.6ohm) I make sure i juice it up let it sit for a while even put a few drops right down the pipe/give it a few tight primers... everything to get that poly fill to be fully saturated. I turn the wattage down to 9 watts for a bit just to break it in, then maybe after a few hours take it to like 12 watts max. The thing will vape good for like maybe 3 or 4 tanks (1-2 days) no problems great flavor.

But then comes this strange flavor when i hit it wide open that makes every e juice taste like a weird nutty flavor.( I know its not burning because i have defiantly burned a coil out by accident not checking my wattage switching between that and an RDA). So i seem to have to close down the airflow and turn down the wattage and it seems to fix it until like maybe another 2 or 3 tanks i can turn it back up and it tastes fine.

I have tested this with like 5 completely different E juice brands of all PG/VG ratios and nic levels so it's not the juice. I even had to get someone else to try it and they even said that when they vaped a watermelon juice it left a taste of hickory in the back of their throat, defiantly not pleasant. I had it do it to me out of no where on a peanut butter juice ( almost puked at work )

So my question to be asked here in my mind.... is it the poly fill itself maybe going through a break in period?.... or is it maybe the flavoring in the juice degrading from the heat?(it does have a very tight chimney to the coil)... or is it a combination of both?(which is more what i am leaning to)...

Has anyone else has this problem? Or maybe know of a way to avoid this? I have never experienced this with other clearo's or RBTA's I would like to get more than 5 days out of a coil. I have lots of them and would like to use them.

P.S. i have never vaped a weird hickory or hotdog flavored juice in there in case you were wondering.
