So I've spent the last 5 months upgrading from ego+evod and tobacco flavours to Cf4 and Nuatilus mini with tobacco flavours, then subtank nano and now CF4 plus and Aspire cleito tanks with high VG bakery / creamy liquids, tons of vapour etc...

Now I've got all that, I went to the vape shop to try a few new liquids today and the best of the bunch by far was 'cola cubes' 70PG30Vg no name brand on an ego in a c5 clearomiser at 4 volts!

Absolutely and completely refreshing and delicious!

I now want to buy a new evod for my ego 650mah (only today gave my old one to my Dad...) which I still have and fill it up with 'cola 'cubes' no name brand liquid and chain vape it for a week!

Anyone else find themselves going through such a major shift...?

Well, I haven't upgraded to any higher than my Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 and my Eleaf Mini 10w as far as mods I use, even though I have some Sigelei 50W mods stashed away. Tanks/clearos wise...only have many of the now discontinued Vision Nano clearos, Innokin 16D clearos that I love, and some Protank Mini II and Mini III tanks. That's it!

But you know what, I still go back sometimes and use my eGo 1100mAh batteries, my cigalike 510 slim JoyeTech 280-320mAh batteries, the shorty 510 attys + drip tips, and other things, too. Sometimes I just find that those give me a better taste and smoother vape than some of my mods with the Protanks I mentioned.

I can't personally see anything wrong with using anything I've got, at any time. I especially use some of my older stuff (shorty 510 attys + drip tips) when I'm doing Bill's 100DT testing a new recipe!

At this point, I figure whatever gives me a taste I like, the hit I like, and satisfies me...to heck if other people think it's "old-tech", way out-of-date, and inferior technology wise. They aren't vaping with it - I AM! :)

I absolutely still use my Evods and MVP2s. I also have my egos and protank minis going strong! These are my mods that I take out and about when I leave the house for short trips like grocery shopping! They still give me the flavor and are fully functional!

You should give your Nautilus mini a chance. The flavor that tank produces is just flat amazing. I have all kinds of mods and tanks including ego 650s and 1150s. I will be honest i dont really use the ego battteries anymore but that Nautilus mini tank still produces some of the best flavor out of everything I have tried. You should really give it a chance. Hell you can even slap it on your ego batteries as well.

OMG.... Thank you for this post. I was beginning to wonder if I should be looking for a therapist. Now I don't feel quite so alone anymore. :tumble:

I've only been vaping since June last year. Started with an eGrip 20w V1. My first backup was an ego VV 650 with Aspire BVC tank. When if first brought the ego/Aspire setup home I was so disappointed with it that I thought I'd wasted my money. Then I decided to spend a day doing what I had read in these forums "learn to get the most from what ya got"!

VEERRRY long story short... I'm now locked in on my little 650 ego vv and 2 650 Evod vv batts and various Kanger-attied tanks. Evods,T3XLs and a T3S on the way. Have bought 2 Sigelei ZMax so I have something with replaceable 700 mah batts in case of vapocolypse. Would love get a Smok Silenus mod as another backup.

My poor eGrip has been packed away in its box, as has my Cloupor Mini+. My Koopor plus still has the cellophane wrapper on the box and I doubt the luggy will even be opened whenever it arrives.

If you are seriously considering getting another Evod check this out. I've gotten 2 of them. The vv battery alone is well worth the price, consider the tank and charger a bonus

Your flavor preferences change over time as you gain your taste back from quitting smoking. I use two flavors on a daily basis to switch it up and not get too much vape fatigue. My secondary flavor is Mountain Dew fizzy soda flavor, to go along with my coffee flavor ADV.

As far as the Clieto to Clearo switch, I understand completely. These subohm tanks really take away from the flavor IMO as they gush out huge clouds of vapor. I've tried the subtank and Lemo, and I don't like either of them. I'm a flavor chaser, and use a KFL+v2 and a rebuilt mini protank as my tanks of choice. Also saves my battery, and a ton of juice by not subohming.

I still use tobacco based flavours after almost 4 years of vaping. I can't imagine switching to pure fruit, or pure bakery flavours (though I have mixed these in with a tobacco base before now).

I am not a massive hoarder of vaping equipment, though I bought quite a lot of different stuff when I first started, to find something that worked. I use a mech exclusively now, and have done for 2 years, but I am thinking of getting a small temp control box mod, as I have become a little bored of the battery dictating my wattage and my resistance, as opposed to the other way around.

It makes me smile when I hear about how difficult a mech mod can be, and how dangerous, etc.

I don't understand people needing to collect lots of different mods, or different tanks, drippers etc that all do basically the same job.

One plus a back up, and all is well. ;)

I still use my ego 1100mah batteries and protank 2s for stealth vaping and for my menthol and my hot cinnamon vanilla mix. I also use my sub tanks on a mech mod but use the rba deck with 1.5 ohm coils. I started with tobacco flavored juices but my taste changed as my sense of taste returned an I now use Bavarian cream and strawberry flavors as my ADV. my tobacco flavors no longer taste good

Got a nice display at the local vape store of about twenty five different vapes I used over the past three years. Most of the display is retired but it all works. It is a conversation piece as most don't even know what half of the collection is. Pretty much just have my six or seven box mods and 17 or so subtanks here at the house now. CHEERS!

this may start as a way to quit smoking but for many of us it quickly turns into a fun and rewarding hobby. you are definitely not alone and if you think you need a therapist than you probably don't. it only those of us that believe that everyone else is crazy that need a nice vacation at the laughing academe :lol:
