Anyone else go through this?

I agree, vaping is healthier! A lot of us ex analog smokers just need to go through the motions of dragging and blowing vapor, holding something etc. your doing great, and don't let people tell you otherwise! You have to do what's right for you. Eventually you can drop the nic level - slow and steady wins the race. Vape on my friend ;)

I'm really new to vaping. I bought my first kit just over a week ago and my husband says the same thing. He isn't really complaining, just commenting. The thing is, I "chain vape" a 0 nic pretty much all day long. When I actually need the nicotine I switch over to another tank. My situation is rather different though. I suffer from a chronic illness that makes me prone to panic attacks. Vaping seems to calm me more than anything else. He is just concerned that I will never stop chain vaping. I think it is too early to tell. It's only been just over a week and I think the compulsion will slow down in time. Besides, my cigarettes never tasted this good lol. I honestly believe that part of it is that the e-juice tastes so good.
I'm hoping that he will make the switch to vaping soon and then, he will see what I'm talking about. When I'm vaping something that doesn't taste like a cigarette, it's easy to just vape all day. He wanted to be sure that my all day tank was a 0 nic and he seems pretty satisfied with that and once he switches, I'm sure he will do the same for a little while.

A bit of an update ... My SO is still not 100% happy with me vaping. He rolls his eyes when new bottles of juice or tanks come in the mail. I have stopped trying to tell him about all the research that says vaping is much healthier than smoking. He doesn't ask me to stop or when I will drop my nic level. I think we are at the point where we agree to disagree on the issue. I can only imagine what his reaction will be when he sees I have bought a Provari. Thankfully he has no idea how expensive they are. More importantly I have not had an analog in 3 months.
