Well my dad requested pictures for a new drawing he's doing, so I decided to put there in a place I can find them. I do apologize for the fuzzy factor, he wanted cell phone pics so I could send them to him immediately, I did the best I could, lol. He just wanted to get an accurate idea of it so he can draw it correct.

Rock River Arms LAR 15 Entry Tactical - Samson 12.37" Evolution free float rail system - Midwest Industries flip up sights on MI 45 degree mounts - Magpul MOE stock - Nikon m223 3-9x scope with BDC mounted on some stupid expensive cantilever QD mount - Troy Industries medieval muzzle brake & BAD lever... My buddy just gave me a bipod recently since I got the scope, I gave him the Magpul AFG I had on it before it was scoped.

Remington 870 Express, 18.5" barrel with "tactical choke", Mesa Tactical 6rd side saddle, Nordic +3 mag extension, speed feed forend, upgraded "police model" trigger spring and ejector, loaded with 13 rounds of Winchester PDX1, lol. Even with the now 8-9lb trigger pull, I won't keep this chambered even though it's my primary HD gun.

and just because I'm so geeked... I got a new case, lol. It's a Pelican 42" all weather case... although I wouldn't really trust it in the rain, it's better than what I had, it actually closes, I can keep mags with it... and it only cost me $50 at Walmart, compared to the $120-150 I've been seeing for the same thing.

Mmm, 1911‘s... I always wanted to build a set like the ones in the Punisher... but not identical. Figure Springfield Operator TCP's, compensators, carbon fiber grips... why? Because this is America dammit and I can :D

Gun lover and CWP card carrier here too. Forgive me, but not real keen on making a grocery list of my goods in a public forum. But next chance I get, will take a pic or three. Love antiques to modern, but just can't bring myself to pay the ridiculous over inflated prices of the current scared market (for assault style riffles and ammo). But once things calm down, will have to pick up a thing or two. Love seeing the pics and may have to ask for a little guidance on that future purchase if it is ok?

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and I'm with you. Now lets kill some zombies.....hahaha. 070.gif

Nice pieces, Drunk_J! :thumb:

Per your earlier point; I agree, it's not good OPSEC to post a definitive list of everything you've got. I don't do that either. I just share pics of individual firearms here and there.

And yeah, the way to post larger pics is by using a link from an image hosting site, (e.g. imageshack).

Here's another favorite, pre-'89 ban Hungarian SA-85M underfolder, built by FEG, imported by Kassnar:

That works too. I've got one myself:

^ Stainless Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 mag

Gotta love a large caliber wheelgun! I take mine along whenever hiking through an area frequented by bears.

Absolutely. Mine's an Interarms Virginian Dragoon in .44 Mag. It's never seen practical use, but it's a great therapy gun for spitting big boomy fireballs at the range. Those four monstrous clicks when cocking are every bit as satisfying as pumping a 12 gauge. My Dad's got a big S&W .44, and it's a sweet piece, but it just doesn't have the romance of a single action. Or the hair trigger. :D

Cool. I've never looked at Interarms revolvers before. I'll have to do so.

I've considered getting a Ruger Redhawk in a shorter barrel length, (~5" or whatever the length just under my Blackhawk is, I forget), or a S&W snubby .44, and while they may be more practical in some ways.. they don't appeal to me as much. I like a big, heavy single action.

In a more modern pistol, I generally prefer a semi-auto.. and my favorite caliber in that type is 10mm Auto. "Full house" 10mm cartridges are just about as powerful as .41 mag, (powerful enough to legally hunt deer/elk with), and much more compact. Here's my favorite for carry and potential "zombie elimination". ;)

Lovely. My first handgun was a Glock 21 in .45ACP. It's not pretty, but it works every single time, and there's not much more you can ask of a practical firearm. I'd like to get into 10mm at some point, but I'm not sure I want another Glock. I'll probably end up with a Tanfoglio/EAA Witness, as I'm quite fond of the CZ-75 action. Unless I find a killer deal on a Delta Elite. Or I might just go ahead and pick up a Desert Eagle in .44 Mag. Are they ridiculously overexposed in action flicks and games? Yeah. But they're still awesome pistols. Or I'll go completely insane one tax return season and track down a BFR in .45-70, just because those S&W 500 fans need some humbling now and then... :)

Sure. Just so long as you don't call em AK-15 or AR-47 "assault rifles"! ;)

My rifles are self-loading sporting arms, not "weapons of war", as Dear Leader and the Sea Hag, (among others), disengenuously call them in their effort to further erode our Bill of Rights to solidify their Power, (which is all they really care about).

As is the AK-15 :D :

I don't really want one, though. Imo, the 5.56x45 rnd is inferior to both the 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 rnds.. and less reliable, (reliability being one of the hallmarks of the Kalashnikov design), because of the shape of the cartridge.

I do have one long gun similar to an actual "AK-47", (not an AKM or the other more modern variants), but of course, she's semi-auto only:

The scare is basically over. AR prices have dropped back to pre-scare pricing, parts are readily available if you want to build your own, 223/556 ammo has become steadily more available and the prices are back down (.30rnd for steel, .40-.50rnd for brass). Things are getting back to normal with AR's.

Now if the .22LR ammo would just make a comeback.

Really? Cool. Have to check the local Wallyworlds as I would like a Colt or Sig AR.

I had no idea on the 22LR. I have sooo many thousands of them, never have looked for more. Glad I stocked up a good while back.
