I liked the Vivi Novas with the top coil. They have their issues, but when working well it's a nice warm sensation with lots of vapor.
Right now I'm using carto-tanks; specifically the dual coil cartos from Smoktech. Not as warm as a top-coil clearo, but close enough and pretty user-friendly.

I've been using the exact same things the last couple of weeks, and really like the vns for the warmth. A couple of days back I started trying out the iClear 30s, thinking the dual top coils would really crank the heat, but they seem to vape on the cooler side. By the time I push them enough to get warmth in the vape, they start hitting really dry.

Yeah you know, I have been having problems with my beloved vivi nova's lately! I just bought two SVD Novas from aqua vapor and new heads. Last batch of heads I bought were chinese knockoffs. Bought a mini nova and it has a huge plasticy taste and did not come in a normal nova box. And these new SVD Vivi Novas have dry hits TERRIBLY!! I have to flip over that little metal thing inside the rubber cap on the top to help it actually wick which never used to be a problem. I know Phil Bussardo actually stopped purchasing them and put them aside because of the same quality control issues and He LOVED them. I have tried rebuilding the coils and everything and for some reason, I still get dry burning hits too often so I have set them aside too. Unless you guys can tell me where to get some better ones?? I purchased the Kanger T2 and I am very impressed. They are my all day vape now and it was like a sigh of releif I could almost cry! I had gone back to just dripping into cartos because everything I had been purchasing that used to be so great sucked now. But these T2's taste great, lots of flavor and easily warm vape. Some thicker juices you have to remove a flavor wick which just pulls right out. Like you I didn't care for the Iclear 30 cause its on the cooler side and gets dry hits easily as well. If you guys know where to get any GOOD NOVAS and heads like the old ones that you can krank up and just get great flavor and warmth please share your secret!!! lol. Thanks guys so much!

I'm enjoying the igo-l, running a 1.2 ohm dual coil very warm vape :)

Hi guys. New here, but been lurking for months. I have to agree with Igo-L (or any rebuildable really). When you get into the dual coil sub ohm builds, the heat heat can be overwhelming until you get your air holes to the right size.

Hey hello back fellow south dakotant!! I am in the Black Hills as well!! Hot Springs!! Nice to meet your aquantance!! I hope you signed the petitions as I have signed everyone I can! Azmo I wasn't big on the Iclear 30 especially for a warm vape, however I put the Iclear 30 heads into an Iclear 16 and it was a pretty good vape!!! make sure you boil the new heads and the IClear 30 itself when it shows up of the taste will be off! Anyway I got a pretty nice vape putting the iclear 30 heads in the iclear 16!! Better than the the Iclear 30 and better than the 16 with its own 4 wick heads. Ill check out Got Vapes everyone!! Thanks for that as well!! The Kanger T2's are rocking to me thoough and possibly better than the vivi novas ever were for me and that is saying a lot for me!! So if you havent tried one, try it!! Something about kanger just is QUALITy. For thicker or darker liquids you should remove the flavor wick which is the top wick you see. Let it soak a bit in liquid to lube it up, then unscrew the head, and pull it out. That simple. But for lighter and 70/30 blends it works very well stock! LOTS of vapor, clean strong flavor, and warm vape at 3.9 volts 2.0 ohms heads.
