Anyone else notice the increase in advertising for Blu-Cig and Vuse?

I actually started on the Vuse. It is what made me believe I could get off analogs. Their not bad for a cigalike. I liked them better then the over expensive green smoke. 10 bucks for a starter solo kit. I found their menthol to be really good. I am on a much better vaporizer now. But I still have fond memories of Vuse and I plan on keeping my Vuse batteries around just in case something happens to my Itaste and I need a quick backup. In that case I will pick up one of their packs of cartridges to hold me over. Battery life in them are pretty good too. When I was vaping on it a lot it would still last me 24-48 hours. So it's battery life was better then my Itaste VV. In my opinion at the very least big tobacco is doing right on those. They are better then other cigalikes and keeping the price much lower. Cartridge price is decent. 2 cartridges in a pack for 6 bucks here. While cheaper to go that route then analogs, it still doesn't compare to what we save on good vapes. But hey it's a good start. I hope more smokers try it, decide like me they can get away from analogs and after a while move on from Vuse to something better and cheaper in the long run.

The reason I never tried blu was cause of the price of their starters. I picked Vuse first because of it's cheaper price. Green Smoke I only tried because they offered me a sample of their stuff and all I had to pay was a small shipping charge. Their batteries seem a bit hit and miss. lol. They are far from being worth their price. Vuse on the other hand has a lot of bang for it's buck.

1. It hits really good for a cigalike. I haven't tried a lot of them but it beat Greensmoke and Mark Ten which I also tried once. Those turned me off vapes for a while. lol Even the very last vape on the cartridge hits really good.
2. The light at the end blinks white for 2 seconds when the cartridge is low.
3. The light at the end blinks white rapidly when the cartridge is empty.
4. The light at the end begins blinking red when the battery is close to going dead.
5. Battery life of 24-48 hours depending on how you vape. I suppose it could get down a bit less if you constantly chain vape bit it should still last you the majority of the day.
6. Their cheap to buy

They won't ever be as good as the good vapes we all have. They also have a limited amount of flavors right now. But for a cigalike they are good and worth the price. Some of it's features there are stuff you expect more out of good vapes. Such as battery life notification and when the juice is running low. Though many of us can see this with our eyes on these. Those you can't. So it is a nice feature. You can't use any other cartos with their batteries though. They saw to it with their special design. But what do you expect from big tobacco? It has already exceeded our expectations being better then the rest in it's class and cheaper to boot. You can't ask for more from a cigalike. As much as I wish I had skipped the cigalike step, I am glad I at least tried that one instead of one of the others. Ok I did try mark ten once a year before. But I don't include that since it was one puff and it made me not want vapes. lol.

I started with Green Smoke way back when I first tried e-cigs.
Expensive- but I have to admit they did the trick for making me convert - and they also forced me to expand my horizons in looking for a better alternative.

I might try Vuse just to see if BT is serious or if they are just selling "placebos"
to frustrate "smoke free" wannabes into returning to the old habit (my current theory of the BIG BT "strategy").

I started with blu-cig, thought I would pass out trying to get a decent vape. gave up and went back to cigs. Been 3 months with my evod and not one cig at all! I was a 2 pad smoker. Guess they work for a light smoker.I knew it was only a matter of time before BT got into the market, and there goes the neighborhood.....

I agree, would be nice to something other then overpriced kits that want you to continue to buy their crappy cartos.

The prices on practically all the cigalikes starter kits is just outrageous. I think RJ Reynolds realizes this and that is why they released their starter solo kit so cheap. All it has is the battery, a cartridge and a usb charger. If you really want a backup battery you could just get another solo. I have heard they are planning on releasing a bigger kit for 30 bucks. Below are the links to their FAQ section and what they also got available.

Not sure if you have to be logged in to see that last one. I logged in and got to it. In case you can't see it.

PowerUnit & Accessories Kit

The VUSE PowerUnit & Accessories Kit gives you additional
charging options and a spare rechargeable PowerUnit.
Complete with a carry case, this pack is the perfect accompaniment to extend your VUSE experience.

VUSE PowerUnit & Accessories Kit includes:
1 Rechargeable PowerUnit
1 Signature Carry Case
1 USB Charger
1 Car Adapter
1 AC Adapter

I would say decent if it is 30 bucks. Still for that money you could get a much better vape but it is more worth it then say green smoke or maybe even Blu. Of course green smoke wants an outrageous price.

I suppose its ok for someone wanting to try vaping or wants something very small but I'm not a fan of buying refill cartos. For many including me bottled is the only way to go.

Yeah same with me. But considering most people when they first want to try switching over don't even know about all the options that are out there. All they know of usually is cigalikes. With most cigalikes people find themselves going back to analogs. Mark Ten are an example of one being so bad that they would rather go back to analogs. It did me. Those that are remotely good like Green Smoke are way overpriced. Even Blu is rather expensive. Their disposable is the same price as Vuse's solo which is not a disposable. I am glad Vuse is around. I may not be a fan of big tobacco. But I would rather have something around like that for people who are trying to get off analogs. I was hesitant after my bad experience with Mark Ten. But I did find I loved Vuse. It showed me I could get off analogs as a reasonable price. Of course after that I started to discover the other options out there. The better options. When I got curious I found this forum. I begin looking into another vapes thanks to the suggestion of the members here. It was thanks to some members here I now have an Itaste VV Aerotank Mini and a decent amount of juices. This is the kind of place new vapors need. Eventually they will find us. But if before they find us they find the Vuse, I am happy for them because they found something decent at least. I know I likely would still be smoking analogs if it hadn't been for Vuse.

I started vaping when BLU came out. It was cool and I could vape anywhere, just like the commercial...

My have the times changed. Now not only do we got much better vaping gear but there are now more restrictions are where we can vape. These days if I had went blu and vaped and then gotten told not to vape somewhere I would have threatened to sue Blu for false advertising. lol. After all when they say that now we know it sure isn't true. It is kinda sad too. We face these restrictions because so many people out there are ignorant and uninformed.

I tried Blu at first also, their disposables taste great but of course cost way to much and their battiries are just junk. They do work to be fair but its not for me.

I told myself why try something for 10 bucks that is disposable and only last about as long as a pack of smokes. A pack of analogs is cheaper then the Blu disposables. At least Vuse for 10 bucks you get something you will get a lot of use out of. Even though their packs of cartridges are 6 bucks and only have 2 cartridges, that averages out to about 3 bucks a pack if you compare them to analogs. That is still far more expensive then going the good route of getting a good vape and buying your own juice. But it is a better options then analogs at least and they beat out other cigalikes that cost far more. For those that don't know about the better way to go, at least it is still a better and cheaper route then analogs. Also if your a regular vapor and out out and about, run out of juice in your vape and aren't going to be home for a while, well if you leave a charged Vuse battery in your car, you could at least pick up a pack of cartridges for a decent price at a gas station to hold you over until you get home. Which of course is a much better option then picking up a pack of analogs to hold you over like some people do.

Yesterday, I saw pile of Blu kits in Sam's Club, of all places. I probably should have examined it more closely but that kit was almost the size of a shoebox.

Just for giggles you may want to go revisit that one. Someone was in New Members in the last couple days who started on Blu because they bought a pile of it there. Said Sam's Club was discontinuing Blu so they were deeply discounted.
