As the title says, anyone else tired all the time after giving up analogs? And I really mean ALL the time. I was fine week one, but every since the middle of week two, I can't get enough sleep. I can barely wake up for work in the morning, been tardy a day or two, and I'm just dragging by all day.

I hope this issue stops at some point, although it's not going to make me start smoking again. It's just a bit of a pain in the .....

I have actually been more alert since quitting cigs. I have an easier time getting out of bed and I can actually make it through the work day without feeling run down at the end of it. It could possibly be your body's way of coping with the withdrawal from the chemicals in cigarettes. I am not a doctor but that is my initial take on your issue.

Yes! For three weeks, it was Mr. .... meet Mr. Couch. And Mr. Head and Mr. Pillow were having an 11 hour a night relationship.

I found that once the feeling I called "glassy" (it was like looking at the world through slightly distorted glass) started to fade, that also started to go away. At this point, I'd say I'm almost all the way back at day 25.

After a little research on my end, it seems that drowsiness during weeks 2-4 after quitting smoking isn't uncommon. I guess all the chemicals and toxins in analogs were keeping me running and now my internal battery isn't applying enough energy on its own or something, lol.

Week one was amazing, felt like I could go running if I wanted without issues of the past, but I'm not the running your, haha. So this tiredness should fade shortly. Until then, caffeine is my new best friend!

Among many, many other things in analogs there are chemicals that act as MAOIs which are antidepressants. When you replace smoking with vaping, you are getting your nic fix but your body and mind are still going through withdrawals from other substances like those. Give it a few weeks and you'll get past it.

I've been desperately awaiting the increased energy everyone's always talking about too, but I haven't found it yet. I'm chasing a 21 month old toddler all day so I could really use it. I'm beat and I'm guessing that it could be due to the lack of MAOIs that was suggested above.

Yes, when I was vaping a higher % of pg. Now, I pretty much vape 100% vg but for the pg in the flavors.

I tended to drink a lot of coffee when using analogues so I was feeling a little drowsy after quitting but that only lasted a day or two. I feel great now!

I'm recently finding myself with too much energy... up at 3:00am at work between 4:00am and 10:00am I used to get home and sleep until 2.30pm but now I find it hard to fall asleep though the day. I also go to bed at about 10:00pm but I still find it hard to fall asleep... take for example last night, I stayed up to try and tire myself out by watching every episode of the current series of Supernatural... I watched the last one at 11:15pm and was in bed for 11:30pm although, I still didn't manage to fall asleep until 12:40'ish!

I just hope it's to do with quitting analogues and not because I vape nearly all day long now.

The sleep cycle change lasted a couple of weeks for me if I remember correctly. Also, note that vaping is not like smoking...the nic absorption is different and LONGER. So all the nic-juice coating your airways releases the nic...not in 30 seconds...but much longer. And so... CUT DOWN before you go to bed...caffeine too. Yeah...it's all the other stuff too. So there's an adjustment period.

This is particularly true if you find that you have lucid dreams. The same effect can happen if you go to sleep wearing a nic-patch. Light sleep and lucid dreams.

So it's both... body adjusting to no cigs and making sure you reduce your nic level at night.

Hi there

I know what ur going throu and it's hard " specially if you where a heavy smoker / over 3 yrs or even more ... I was smoking tabacco which I rolled for 13 yrs , I went up to 3 pouches a week summed up as 150grm of tabacco " it's a lot "
When I got my first RIP OFF " I call it rip of cos of the price and cos it didn't help" which where these look alike cigs I felt all these symptoms ur feeling ..and bought an other pouch :-( .... Then I went for an ego with a ce4 and helped for two weeks. Tryed an cig and almost throwed up .....

Well what helped me was a good tasty juice " RY4 was for me with a 24mg Nic with a carto ... That has got me 7 months off stinkies ...now I'm on a genesis with a 8 mg Nic ..... And I sleep like a baby today.. So bump ur Nic so it composite for other chemicals with a good flv ou like .. Then with time you'll cut Nic too... Believe me if I did it ... You can mate..

Good luck and persevere ...at the end ou will gain the most important thing HEALTH.

Oh yeah...sleep.
Whenever I quit the analogs, I just slept & slept. All night & half the day on weekends. Crazy tired. But it only lasted a week or so.
Keep in mind that nicotine/cigarettes is a stimulant & we aren't getting the same amount of nicotine with our vaping. I have also been warned about alcohol consumption when quitting analogs. Alcohol is a depressant. So because we are not taking in the stimulant nicotine as before, the booze will hit much stronger than it used to when we smoked. So beware of getting drunk unintentionally.
Intentionally getting drunk is another subject. LOL
