Don't know where you are buying your DIY supplies, but USP PG only runs $20 per gallon at TSC, and you can grab a gallon of USP VG paired up with a gallon of USP PG for $45 all day long online from multiple suppliers.

I don't DIY yet, just a quick google in reply to a gallon of Halo juice costing $2000...

Well, yea, the rest of the ingredients are cheap. But those few drops of magic flavors is all the difference. Yea, it's expensive per gallon.

But so is bottled water, in small quantities. a 20oz at $1.50 is 9.60 a gallon. Poland spring in 8oz bottles is over $15. For water!! (plus the lovely 5 cent deposit per bottle in NYS)

Of course, we realize Halo flavors are special, premium and unique. I vape some less expensive juices, but I'd pay double for my fav Halos.

YEah, I'm also pretty sure Halo doesn't use off-the-shelf, bottom dollar PG, VG flavors or nic. There is a difference in purity and quality. Pretty sure Johnny Blaze once posted the PG Halo uses is the purest on the market and that even many with PG allergies tend not to have them with Halo e-juice.

I would love bigger bottles myself. Mostly because I always underestimate how long my juice will last me and then I run low and freak out.

On another note Halo has nailed so many flavors that have tried to be copied by many of vendor's. Tribeca ih probably the most sought after halo juice in all of vaping history. Almost every vendor tries to duplicate it. Though for legal reasons would never cop to it. Diyers are still on a mission to duplicate it. Halo juices might not he the fanciest juice, but it has a quality to it that I find unbeatable.

Also, I think people underestimate how huge of a customer base halo covers. Ecf users probably only make up a small percentage of that base. It has become a trusted name in vaping and certainly in my home.

I agree, Halo to me is top of the line.

Their juices are always consistent, and it is obvious that they use the best ingredients.

The Triton to me is just unbeatable.

Great flavor, easy to use, and easy to maintain.

The reason I bought the Triton, was because on review sites, they were always right there at the top of the list, and after I came here and did a little research, I was sold.

I recommend them any time I get the chance because I know Halo will not disappoint.

Once in a while I will see someone raving about a MOD and what it can do, but deep down I know it would be a waste of money for me.

Read an article at Spinfuel and it said that after reviewing the Triton, they all continued to use it for personal use.

That's saying alot when they could use any brand they wanted to.

I will be a Halon forever!!

I would absolutely love it if Halo started offering larger bottles at even a small discount.

This has always been something I wondered about, I just don't understand why they wouldn't offer larger quantities like a lot of other vendors do. The main reason I am constantly looking for something to replace my Turkish Tobacco with is because of the price, and I'm not looking for something that tastes similar, just something that is good enough that I can use it as my ADV. Of course if they offered a larger bottle at a discount I could probably stop looking for a new ADV, or at least it would be a lot harder for me to find something comparable in price/taste.

Basically I would be ecstatic if they offered a 60mL bottle for $34.99 and/or a 120mL bottle for $64.99. If they did that, I would more than likely buy a 120mL bottle of Turkish Tobacco every month. :vapor:

Halo makes good ejuice, and I'm sure it's pretty lucrative. I doubt they would risk cutting into their own profit margins if it didn't help their bottom line. The glass bottle and dripper costs way more to produce than the ejuice inside. I have a drawer full of empty glass bottles. Although they look really nice, I wonder how much less they could charge if they just used plastic.

60mL is $36 with the 10% off coupon.

I wonder if part of it is, that their process isnt semi-automated since they make such a huge volume, and their machines cant fit a larger sized bottle.

I know a lot of the juice companies i see offering larger than 30ml bottles, are doing all the batches by hand.

Something else to consider, I saw this on one small mom n pop juice companies site, on why they dont offer bigger than a 30ml bottle. They were concerned that anything bigger than a 30ml, would be sitting around too long that the nic would over oxidize ruining the juices flavor.

I personally perfer having it in the blue glass. It makes me feel a bit better about the plastic degrading and getting into my juice, plus the blue provides an additonal protection against light degrading the nicotine and possibly other components of the juice.

But the dripper...It is nice that it is there, but once you have order 10 bottles of Halo Juice... do you ever really need another Halo Bottle to come with a dripper again? Would be sort of nice, if you could order with or without dripper. More from an enviromental concern on my part than a retail cost thing, I cant see them offering a $0.10 discount or something just cause we elect not to get the dripper.

That all makes sense. I would actually prefer the idea of them offering plastic 30mL bottles at a little bit of a discount (instead of larger bottles). Mainly because I could easily just transfer the juice from the plastic bottle to one of my many empty glass bottles as soon as it arrived. Unfortunately I think if either of these things were a possibility they'd already be doing it.

Also, I never really realized that it's $36 with the 10% off code (more like $39 with shipping), even though my last order was for 67mL, and it was $45 shipped. Although now that I think about it, I suppose I'm happy getting 67mL of such a delicious e-liquid (and 200 points) for $45, but naturally I'd be a lot happier getting 120mL for $60-$65 shipped

Sometimes I just have to remind myself that even though I'm vaping around 90mL per month, I am still spending quite a bit less than I would have if I was still smoking, not to mention I feel 1,000,000x better. :D

Try this too.. order 4 30ml and 2 7ml of juice, use the forum coupon code for the 10% off, it brings your total to $82.75. Which qualifies you for free shipping. So... 134ml for $$82.75 shipped and 400 points. That is the "cheapest" per/ml you can get during non-sale periods from Halo.

You got to get the 1st 7ml to get the free shipping, and the 2nd one to get the threshold for 400 points, cause otherwise you miss it by $4.00 and only end up with 300 points.

And they're NOT that much larger:

Looks to be at least twice as wide. If they are using some sort of auto bottling machine.. it might have a max girth of container it can accept.

Sometimes with such equipment you can retool the carriers.. but often you cant, and you have to custom order a whole new assembly line.
