I slept very badly for a while. Thought I was vaping too high a nic level and cut it down, only to find that didn't help! Finally found out that smokers metabolise caffeine far faster, so cut my coffee intake by about half which has sorted it out.

(Not allowed to post links yet... search for ""Rise in Caffeine Linked to a Halt in Smoking" to read the article I found out from).

One thing I've noticed lately: because I vape at such a low level of nicotine, anytime I get busy doing anything and don't vape on a fairly regular basis, I've been getting headaches.

I've also been going thru the "3 week blues", apparently some garbage leaving my body after 3 wks smoke-free, and I've been feeling down, kinda depressed. I've decided that I'm going to try a little of the WTA stuff, mainly to get me thru this initial withdrawal phase. I haven't really had any cravings to speak of, but between the headaches and the blue feeling, it seems that I need a bit more of *something*, but have to be careful of the nicotine itself because too much definitely causes me nausea.

I believe the issues Im experiencing are much more related to the quitting of cigarettes, than to the beginning of vaping, and would certainly be a great deal worse, without the vaping. So thank god for e-cigs!!! :thumb:

I've been vaping for almost 2½ months, and the only real side effect I have had is very dry mouth, which is expected and easily fixed by drinking water. However another problem I have been having is I constantly have to clear my throat, and then spit whatever I cleared. I think this might also be fixed by drinking more water, but it hasn't helped yet...

I switched over to the Halo Turkish a few days ago, and this problem seems to be going away. I think it may have been the juice I was using before, which was made by a local shop. I still have to clear my throat every once in awhile, but it's definitely improved quite a bit.

I think you're right. I don't think it's really a good idea to view it as "side effects of vaping". It's better to think of it as "side effects of quitting smoking".

And I don't think the "3" thing worked exactly for me. My first weird period was a month or so in. But I am *always* running late. :)

Experiment, yeah, maybe you're missing something. But maybe you're missing something you don't want back. Somewhere around the one month mark, my metabolism went freaking insane. Insomnia one week, couldn't wake up all freaking day long the next week, crazy stuff. Flopping around like a fish outta water. No idea what that all about.

But it passed.

Milder versions of "weird" came and went later, months apart, less strong each time. It was just the first time things got wonky that was a wild ride. At least in my case. Two... three kind of tough weeks but still not as bad as I remember my "quit" attempts (holy cannoli, those were nightmares). My guess is it was withdrawal from something. No idea what. Too many chemicals in cigs to sort out what did what when...

WOW. Thank you. That explains a lot. All I knew was that since starting vaping, I had to avoid coffee after noon. I drank two cups of half caf late yesterday afternoon, and had trouble sleeping.

There are products out there that can "burn" to a degree. Things that contain solder, rubber like insulators, ect. When they burn you know it and it tastes bad and is not good. It behooves yourself to know how things work and what makes what you use work best for you. After some learning these things are no longer problems, so no more bad effects here. Vape On

Within the last to weeks I got a soar throat and my inner mouth cheek is kind of soar. I am not sure if its due to the PG in the suicide bunny but I have been vaping it for about two weeks and just got the soar throat and inner mouth sourness two days ago. I am not sure if its related and if it could take that long to react to PG but maybe someone else knows. I will be extremely upset if its from the 30%pg in the suicide bunny, I love my OB ! I was also getting some INTENSE headaches but since going from 12 for a few weeks to 6mg I have been good. The headaches could possibly be from the nic but allergy season has begun so its possible that's causing it. I guess I will need to do some testing to find out what really caused these issues. I will probably stick with 6mg since its working fine for me .
