Had some lady do that the other day outside a supermarket. I think she thought I was smoking and so did the whole knee-jerk-reaction-brainwashed-into-being-rude-to-others-because-they-enjoy-something-I've-been-told-to-dislike thing. She got surprised when I start laughing really hard and then got embarrassed when I showed her what she was coughing at and told her it wasn't even smoke. Ha!

Yes. I was on vacation and a shady character money exchange scam artist asked if I needed Koruna. I knew the scam so said I have plenty and blew a cloud at his face. He went into a fake coughing fit as I smiled. He insisted I would get great rates. I told him I know who he is and continued to blow vapor at him. He seemed angry, so I politely grabbed him behind the collar and offered to walk him to a police officer nearby and said if I ever see him near my hotel again the police would be the least of his troubles. I think the vapor bothered him more than the threat of the police or a large man threatening to wring his neck...

my son and i were about to walk in our fav Mex restaurant and as always i take a couple of big toots before walking inside.just as he opened the door a lady (about 40)and her mother (mid sixties)came out and walked right through my cloud. out of habit i said "sorry, excuse us" and the lady went into an exaggerated coughing fit. as we went in i heard the mother ask "what was that?" the lady responded "Mom ,it was rude" to which the mother replied "well it smelled really good". didn't know whether to be annoyed or amused.

My wife and I were taking a walk and vaping in our neighborhood and a couple on the opposite side of the street, walking faster, did a fake cough and gave us the "horrible smoker" look. We sped up and crossed the street to get closer. They scooted away as quickly as they could.

What I wanted to say was "That sounds like a smokers cough - have you tried using one of these instead?" Maybe I'll get another chance.

Oh yeah, had a bunch of them do that. Some of them from too far away or upwind of me, others who made a point of coming right up on me to do it and have something to get nasty about.

Wife and i had just parked at a restaurant and exited the van. I generally try not to blow clouds at people, just like I would do when I smoked.

As I got out I didn't see the two guys walking behind my van and between our vehicle and one parked next to us and let out a big cloud. The one guy started with the coughing and waving. The second guy stopped and said, "that smells great, what is it!"

Yes, I have had this happen to me!

I was at my neighbors on her screened porch. My neighbor smokes. Her neice is there about 14ish. The 14yo is aware of what vaping is. Yet she had a little mind blip. Because she just happened to walk through a cloud when I exhaled and shook her hands.
I am careful not to exhale towards people but this was just by accident. When she was done flapping and shaking her hands.. I laughed and said "You realize this is not smoke right?"
She laughed and said " Oh! Thats right! I forgot!" She is just use to her aunt sitting there really smoking.

It's amazing how many of those people develop instantaneous medical peccadilloes - coughs, headaches, "eye problems", peculiar sensitivity to imaginary odors etc etc - if and only if they actually see someone vaping. Blow a cloud that would put Mount Etna to shame behind their back... Wha!? Why there seems to be no problem at all.

I suggest they should get that cough looked into. Might be cancer...
