Anyone have any easy, helpful tips and tricks?

Ive been using mine for almost a month, totally love it. I started vaping 2 years ago with a sweet, sweet $180 mall setup (please catch the sarcasm) but went back to analogs pretty quickly. Erroneous.
Anyways, Ive been perusing forums and whatnot but its all a bunch of time wasting redundancies, going over the same crap over and over again.

Whats your preferred dripping technique?
How do you keep your atties clean?
Do you fully drain your battery before recharging, or just throw it on a charger at the end of the day till it goes green again?
Do you use polyfill in your carts, tea bags, or blue foam?
Whats this business I hear about not using LR atties?

Can't help you unless you tell us what kind of PV you have and if you prefer dripping, attys w/carts or cartomizers. Are you deciding on what type of PV to get? If so, does size and looks matter? If you need something that looks like a cigarette but is obvious to everybody but you that it's not, then we can narrow down the available options. If size doesn't matter and you want the best possible flavor, vapor and TH, then we can narrow it down some more. If hassle free, low maintenence, good to excellent vape and long life are what you're after then we can dial you right in with some options.
That's the best I can do with the information provided.

1. On my Ego batteries, I prefer dripping on LR atomizers at 1.8 - 2.2 oHms.
2. I used to clean my atomizers by letting them soak in alcohol and dryburning. Now I just throw them into the jewelry cleaner.
3. I recharge my batteries nightly no matter how much juice they have left.
4. I try to mainly drip bc of flavor issues. I get low flavor and cool vapor with my tank. I get hardly any flavor with regular cartos no matter what filling is in there- blue foam, polyfill, or Lipton tea bag.
5. The LR atomizers I use drain my battery faster. It is worth it.

sorry, i figured posting this in the EGO forum gave it away. not trying to sound dickish . Im having mixed feelings about dripping, i ordered mine with a drip tip and used it exclusively the first week, but i cant seem to get my ratio right. it either doesnt make any vapor with that nasty, harsh metallic taste; or farts while i hit it and still doesnt make much juice. im not doing any more than 3 drops, and i have the xl atty (is it just the 510 atty permanently attached to the cone, or something else?).
is it a permanent drain, or just makes it die sooner and need recharging? im using the 900mah batteries, so im not too worried. but i kinda like the cooler feeling vapor [kinda used to it being a "special" medicine patient ]

I misread your post. Disregard my first post.

I'm assuming you have an ego 650.
I just drip directly from the bottle to the atty but only at home. To messy and obvious at work or out and about.
I throw my attys in a ultasound cleaner with some vodka.
I have lots of batteries and always run them down until they flash before charging. If I didn't have lots of batteries, I'd charge the one I used every night.
I don't use carts. I just drip with an atty. The rest of the time I use Boge lr cartomizers and they produce very well for me.
I am not aware of the business of not using lr attys so I can't help you there. I use LR attys on ego/riva 650s and riva 1100s without a problem.

I'm a persnickity old fart and I always unscrew my atty from the battery and remove the drip tip when I drip my atty. I look in the hole and drip usually two drops for thin and three drops for thick juice. I've gotten pretty good at it and have gotten to the point where I can get 15 or so deep puffs out of a fill before I have to refill. Usually I don't even get any leakage out the bottom of the atty. I do notice a substantial drop off in flavor when juice gets between the battery and the atty. This is why I take the atty off for each fill and clean the inside of the batt connection and tip of the atty. You should be getting tons of flavor and vapor from using those 900mah batts and an atty for dripping. As stated, I only drip at home in my easy chair. All the rest of the time I use Boge lr cartos. With your 900mah batts these boges should give you a great hit, dependably. They will also give you the cooler vape you're looking for.

I had noticed poor flavor when i had liquid in the connection but never made the mental connection of cleaning it out. Thanks for the sweet tip! Im thinking i may have just dirtied up my atties, i havent tried a cleaning method yet since ive seen so many contradicting ones on here, but stalins tears in a ultrasonic cleaner sounds perfect. Do you have a preference between vg or pg?

Nah. I use both. I just adjust my methods accordingly. If it's 100% VG, I stick to attys and use the method described. VG clogs up the cartomizers quick and the productive life of them is shortened. If it's 80/20 PG/VG then I use Boge Cartos. You will do well with 100% VG with attys if you keep them clean. Cheap Vodka is your friend.

I'm in the carto school too. (LR 2.0 boge) with a 3.7v. With the juices I have (80/20 PG/VG) seems to be a very good sweet spot for now. Plus they're super convenient.

When you're not in the mood for "hobby time" or "juice tastings," just charge your batteries & condom fill your cartos at night. Next day you're ready to rock and don't have to worry about anything 'til bedtime.
