So Ive been looking through some youtube videos on this and have only been able to find reviews on the Tobecco clone. Im not sure what the main differences are between the hcigar, Tobecco, and the authentic version so I was wondering if anyone could lmk. I saw the video on the authentic one and it looks really good since it has four slots for the juice to run up (forget what its called), but the airflow adjuster thing is kind of confusing to me when I watch it on youtube. The one guy said that the Tobecco version is different in that area from the real one so idk. I would get the real one but damn, 180 is alot. Hcigar is usually solid so I was looking for some reassurance from people who got it.

I just got the $20 FastTech clone today (there's another FT version that's $22, and reviews aren't as good). It's a 1:1 clone, as far as I know (RED O-RINGS!). I don't have an original to compare it to, but it's it seems like it would be very close to the original. Threading is mostly very nice, with the occasional sticky thread. It vapes great. The dual coil build is HARD. There aren't and post holes. The coil legs have to be wrapped around the post and tightened. That goes for the original as well. Over all, would buy again.

i've got the Hcigar version. It is very very well built. Machining is excellent. Threads are butter smooth. finish is above average. One of the nicest clones I have bought as far as build quality. Seems to be a 1:1 clone though i do not have the original. Orings and finish is same as what i see on original.

It is a Kayfun style tank geared towards dual coil builds. It has been working pretty good.

I am not a fan of the Airflow control system. the draw seems tight even in its most open position, though i tend to like it more airy (if that is a word). No matter how I build it, it always seems to have some leakage through those air holes, not a terrible, amount but if it sitting long enough without being used I do notice some leakage when i first open the airflow.

Flavor and vapor production is good, but i expected better from dual coils. I have mine built at around .8 ohms right now using micro coil and hemp.

At the end of the day my KFL+ with a single coil performs better in all categories.

It came in a nice carring case and included spare Orings screws, a good amount of Kantal and some silica. can't beat that for 40 bucks. Got mine from ebay. here are some pics:

Hey thanks for your response...Leakage is one of those things thats preventable though no? Maybe if you find a certain build that works? Because ever since I changed my coils on the kayfun 3.1, I cannot get the thing to stop leaking. It was fine before, but Im pretty sure its because of my build. Also, did it only come with one drip tip?

I have the Hcigar version and it has a design flaw as far as I am concerned also noticed by some other user here

The airholes are not lined up properly as you will see in the pictures in the thread above. However, I am not sure if it really effects the amount of air reaching the holes in the deck once the air starts flowing through the derlin channels. As long as the amount sucked saturates the intake capacity of both holes they will both allow the same amount to go through roughly unless the friction of the "longer path" air has to take the more distant one reduces its pressure. Ideally the paths should be equal to have 100% balance.

Nonetheless, I decided I prefer the Kayfuns over it anyway for many reasons (setup ease, tank capacity and better performance overall).

I have the $20 FT version with the red o-rings and hybrid pin in hybrid mode on the FT SS Origin. It is by far my favorite setup. The build is not for the uninitiated.

I am very pleased with the Aqua. Threading and finish is great. Tank volume isn't really an issue. Yeah, it's small, but it still lasts quite awhile evening with .4Ω build in it. Filling it takes a proper technique, but isn't a problem once you've learned the trick, which is to fill it just above the bell, start it on a thread or two, then flip it upside down and finish screwing the cap on. It does typically flood a bit when filling, but is easily cleared by taking a couple pulls holding the mod upside down. I don't bother with "juice control" as it wicks fine with the chimney screwed fully down. While the draw isn't wide open, it's still open enough to lung hit if you must. Air control is done by screwing the tank body up or down on the base.

The Origin mod is a different story. If it didn't have the awesomeness of the Aqua sitting on top of it in hybrid mode, it's a dud out of the box. It looks nice, but as it arrives, the switch is jenky. I bought a switch magnet upgrade from Fat Daddy Vapes to get rid of the terrible spring. I also added a small piece of dental floss to the threads of the adjustable firing pin to keep it from adjusting itself and possibly auto-firing. I also had to sand down the white delrin insulator in order for the body tubes to thread flush even when using a flat top 18650. These sort of hassles are to be expected from a $21 clone, I suppose.
