After I bought my wife the Cinnamon Bun, which she adores by the way. I've decided to try Creme Brulee, Custard, and Burnt Sugar. The Custard is very good. In fact I'm lung hitting the hell out of it, with no headaches or scratchy throat right now. It's a nice sweet, creamy egg custard that's so addicting. I've figured how to get the best taste without steeping. I'll be back about the other two flavors. I gotta go mix a big freaking bottle of the Custard ! :D

Jimi, what % are you mixing Custard at? I love custard vapes - been wanting to try out their creme brulee and flan, but been holding off because of the crappy review on the Creme Brulee a few pages back (but he mixed his at 15%, which was probably waaay too high or OoO, right?).
Here's my ratio that works outstanding for these flavors. 30% pg 70% vg and 10% distilled water. I mixed the Custard at 15%. I noticed the Creme Brulee on the description said the recommended percentage is 3 to 5%. I went with 5%, and I've been vaping it all day. It's good. :)

I'm confused on the %'s..... trying to do this in my head so that's probably what wrong..... I'm using a total of 100 ml for the ending mix and this is what I come up with.... 10ml PG, 65ml VG, 10ml H20, and 15ml flavoring. Assuming the flavoring is 100% PG based. Is this the same as what you are doing? I know on the INW thread there was something to do about using a pre-made base with the water in it.... is this up the same alley? I don't know why this is giving me fits.....lol

Something to consider with 1O1 flavors. They reformulated many flavors (removed diacetyl, acetoin, any other known nasties), some without saying much of anything, I used to love the cinnamon roll, now I find it just so-so, it is pretty weak to me in the current iteration, very different from the original, wish I had known this before buying the 8oz bottle of it!

My point is the custard was probably changed as well, changes were to eliminate the diketones older reviews may not be valid anymore. When I tried it a lemony citrus undertone was present didn't care much for that.

Mmm, that might hit a spot. I've been craving something lemony since I noticed they came out with Poundcake. Lemon Poundcake from Tasty Vapor was one of my favorites (just can't afford premixed anymore :( ). Now if they had Lemon Squares, that would REALLY hit the spot right about now! :p

I mixed everything from scratch with 100 mg nic. I made 6 mg, so from 100 mg it would be 6 ml nic. 10 pg, 59 vg,10 water, and 15 flavoring. That's for the Custard.

The Custard that I'm vaping now has no lemon note. I'm glad, because I can get that from Flavour Art, which is a very boring custard. :D I better go take a whiff of my wife's latest bottle of cinnamon roll. I better tell her too. She will beat me with a rolling pin if it has changed :D

I'm vaping the Cinnamon Roll today. Yeah it's different. That cinnamon taste is awesome. The bread note is starting to come through. I wouldn't say it's weaker. It's a brighter flavor. Are you using a neutral nic base ? I mixed this with Inawera's Power Smoke base and this flavor is popping. My wife says it good, so it's a keeper :)

I think I might try the custard. Jimi, your report really makes me want to try it. I used to be a huge fan of the rainbow sherbet, before they changed it ( and created a top shelf version). I don't care for the two new iterations. The old one was and still is an adv for me. I'm glad I still have a stash of it. But anyway the fact that OOO at least used to make a favorite of mine gives me hope that I'll love another from them. And custard (with or without a lemony vibe) really appeals to me.
I'm just a bit apprehensive because Ive tried easily a dozen OOO flavorings between my orders and my friends orders. I either didn't like them (except for the original rainbow Sherb), or I ran into my classic problem of not being able to find the right mix %.

Did you try the Top Shelf version of RS yet. Is it the same, only more concentrated? Is the house blend, still the same?I am also a fan of the old stock. Please let me know. Thanks. Want to order big bottle of it.

I believe your asking me from my post a few pages back. Read my post above for my assessment. Basically, no the new versions are nothing like the original, sadly.

I tried the Creme Brulee and Burnt Sugar and found them both lacking. Tried samples from 5 - 20% and even at 20% the flavor was weak and not well defined. It was hard to tell the difference between the two flavors actually. I could taste some sweetness and just a little hint of flavor. They both also have a chemical aspect to them. Was using a 50/50 PG/VG 0 nic mix.
I think I now understand why there has not been a groundswell of interest in these flavors. The pictures are sure pretty on their site, but they don't live up to how the flavor actually tastes.
A disappointment but perhaps their other flavors are better --- I'm not wasting any more money to find out though -- if they want to send me free samples, that will be another story.....lol

Used a LR atty I had laying arond and Lemo @ 1.8Ω. Powered by Segeili (sp?) ZMAX (I may be all wrong on names - it's an 18650 telescoping VV/VW tube mod) .
This stuff does not begin to compare to either INW or Bakers Flavors in quality. Even just sniffing the bottle of flavoring before mixing had me leery because the scent wasn't even close to the claimed flavor.
Maybe you have better equipment??? I don't know but I can't imagine the equipment makes that much of a difference, and now I will duck as the comments fly about who has the best equipment......lol I don't want to start a "Provari is the best" argument....

1O1 has been hit & miss for me, mostly miss, think I've got most of the flavors, of the bunch maybe 4, or 5 I actually use, Salted Caramel is probably the best, Pink Square is alright, the Sherbert used to be OK. I've tried most everything with the cinnamon roll, maybe I'll hit it again, might have been just the let down knowing what it was, and how it is.

I have a fair number that simply aren't vapable, was 2 or three that turned the mix cloudy, and then the orange and a couple others with Acetoin separating, really not pleased with the majority, the previously mentioned couple are pretty good though. Oh almost forgot, the Cream with milky undertone is real nice, makes a good Strawberry & Cream.

Like to hear from others what they think of the custard, I'm sure it has been reformulated since I bought it, used to be about the worse custard I've tried! The Yellow cake was terrible as well, if I look at the bottle it has a layer of sediment which has separated out. I can say I think your palate is fairly incompatible with mine, you are the reason I tried my all time worse flavor, Inawera smoke & prunes, think that is the all time worse of the hundreds of flavors I've tried, I haven't lost my lunch since I was a teenager, that stuff almost broke my 30+ year lack of being sick record:laugh:. Honestly though I would have tried it anyway, my collecting/packrat personality definitely show hard in my vape related purchases

Im also on the same boat,

i have tried a few of their flavors, i see the pictures when im shopping on their site and im like " ohhhh pound cake" or "oh man, gotta try that creme brulee" and believe me, i WANT to like them. But they just arent any good for me. im def. on your side ccwaters... they arent very good.

however, i reallllly like the smell of a couple of them. some just dont taste good at all, and i went all over the place with percentages. Or they just arent right. for example, lets look at the cookie dough flavor they have, i got it in last night. opened it up and took a wiff. i said to myself "WHAT IS THIS?!" im telling you guys, its not even close to what cookie dough smells or tastes like because i tasted it also i mixed it at 3%, 5%, and 10%.. Yes, i know i need to let it steep but, i dont see this going anywhere.

The thing is i keep buying them because i see them as tools. ( as i see any other flavor ) they are just tools for me to get different types of notes here and there. so, the cookie dought might work for me in another recipe that has nothing to do with desserts or cookies in general.

I also have to agree with ccwaters on the comment about the smoke n prunes from inawera... what... in... the... world.. is... that... stuff??????? BUT, theres a big following for that flavor, some people love it.. its just not for me.. i cant do it.
